Here's a place where you can share your favorite music with everyone here (Game music or band music.)
Music is to be PG-13 and swears at a minimal level. No M&M or Hollywood undead please.
Also please no more then 3 posts a day.

<--- Enjoy The Silence (Another popular song by Depeche Mode is 'Personal Jesus', a popular version of the song is sung by Marilyn Manson)
<---- R.E.M's Losing My Religion (My next favorite song by R.E.M is 'Everybody Hurts' which is definitely worth a mention.)

Rammstein is an awesome band, they make some great songs (that may need to be translated) (May contain disturbing images) This song is about Simo Häyhä a Finnish sniper that had over 700 confirmed kills (within a 100 day period), he got shot in the face and still managed to live to the impressive age of 96 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simo_H%C3%A4yh%C3%A4 <--Wikipedia link about him <--- 'tis Led Zeppelin, what more can be said?

I don't usually like or listen to music, but the other day I heard this one song I liked, so I googled the lyrics. It's called "Carry On My Wayward Son" by a band called Kansas. It's not the singing or lyrics that I like, but the music/rhythm and the pitch of the voices.

I really like "Paint it Black" as well, Pip. I grew up listening to it and Barraccuda on Guitar Hero when my brothers played it. I find it relates to my fursona a lot.

< I listened to this song on my way home from visiting my grandmother the last time I saw her For that reason it holds a special place in my heart. < My mother used to play Crowded House on the way to the cottage every summer. It is getting harder to think of songs to add, I was hoping to add a 3rd but I have spent the last 30 or so minutes thinking about a song to add and cannot come up with anything. Any suggestions?

I have compiled a new list of songs since my last post. (Since I am running out I can always just throw in a few of the Beatles songs because you can never fail with them.) <---- Original version of the song done by Indio ( Wikipedia Link). The song remained largely unnoticed until 2009 when Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam fame ( Wikipedia Page) did a cover of it for the movie 'Into The Wild'. Both versions of the song are great, but Eddie Vedder's version (being a cover) lacks the emotion of Indio's voice that really made the song (it was featured on the album Big Harvest, which was about nature, being close to nature.). I also highly encourage reading the Wikipedia pages on the two. <----- Eddie Vedder's version Tell me which one you prefer. ------------------------------------------------- <---- I really like the Black Keys and their song 'Little Black Submarine' is the best example as to why. I first listened to this song on my way back from the cottage, the tunes in the song at certain points reminded me of the haunting start of 'Stairway to Heaven' by Led Zeppelin and as I progressed through the song I found more and more similarities (and even more things that I liked about the sound of the band.). <---- Tell me if you can hear the similarities, also I would advise listening to the whole 10 minute song, it is a true masterpiece like no other. It has the special distinction of being the greatest song of all time (in my opinion. Though it only appeared at #31 on Rolling Stone magazines top 500 list. It was however rated #3 by VH1 in a top 100 list. You know what..... Instead of listing all of its rankings I will just leave this link here, have a look for yourself.) certainly a great song. (let me know what you think of it, I want to know if others share my opinion) ----------------------------------------------- These next two songs are by Soundgarden, I first listened to them while at my cottage some 5 years ago. My cousin Robert (16 at the time) had a Soundgarden live concert recording, every morning I would wake up to either of these next two songs and they began to grow on me. It is definitely worth looking at their other music, but I added these because they had the biggest impact on me. <------ Least favorite of the two but still a very good song. 'The song became an instant hit and was released as a single in several different formats.' Wikipedia <--------- 'It is arguably the band's most recognizable and most popular song, and remains a well known song from the 1990s. The song topped the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, where it spent a total of seven weeks at number one.' Wikipedia So which song did you find most enjoyable (not only out of Soundgarden's songs but out of the whole lot as well)? I will have to go far back for the next compilation, expect a lot of the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and the such (and some lesser known bands such as Grand Funk Railroad). Hope you enjoy!
