I love this song. It's so melodic sounding.
First heard this when playing Endless Ocean. It's one of my all time favorites.
This one is just awesome. No argument.

I guess I will get back into this....
This is one of my favorite songs atm, it is about the Vietnam War and not only does it sound magnificent the lyrics are also very interesting and the song has complex instrumentals yet simple and powerful lyrics and vocals.
The beginning of this song is what everyone learns to play when they first pick up a guitar, this iconic song is simple yet catchy and I find myself listening to it almost everyday.
Not much to say about this song except it is awesome!
This song is featured in practically every helicopter scene in movies and games based on and around the Vietnam War (Black Ops has this song just to name one) and deservedly so, this song is great.
Great song as well.
This song seems to be everywhere, it features on almost every show about the Bayou and it is quite catchy.

This song is weird but I love it (Just like I love all things John Lennon, you can tell that group/solo artist is a legend if everyone find at least one of their songs that they like. And if you find multiple songs of theirs that you like (For example Pink Floyd I like 5-6 of their songs, pretty good... Deep Purple I have 6 of their songs on my iTunes all of which I am agreeable with. Kansas I have 8-9 of their songs, they are an amazing band perhaps my favorite prog rock (Progressive rock). Tragically Hip I have 13 of their songs (Canadian Folk band, love most of their songs) and John Lennon I have about 15 (No songs that he made while in the Beatles, a lot of both John and Paul's creations where credited as Lennon-McCartney which became one of the greatest song writing duo's in history (if not the greatest) if I included John Lennon's songs while he was in the Beatles the list would be over 20 easily. (perhaps closer to 30) I find this song (and the song 'Woman') is a great one to listen to when you are feeling down, it may not do anything to make you feel better but it helps you reflect. Certainly helped me quite a few times. Could not show 'Woman' because some of the pictures are borderline appropriate for the forum and I would prefer not to come close to passing it One of his more famous songs, though to be honest I do not like these as much as his other songs... Perhaps partially because of it's fame over the others and perhaps just because it is not as good as his others. This song was about the 5 years John Lennon took off from his music career to be a stay at home father and take care of his newborn son (He came back after 5 years and was killed just after finishing a last album), he had not really been involved in his first child's life (with a different wife) and wanted to be around this time. Many people I guess could not understand why he would take a break from music to look after his kid (especially considering Yoko made music that gives people headaches -_- don't believe me? here: WARNING: if you get passed 1:40 of train noises (or whatever it is) then you are in for a real headache.... Some people like her stuff, but it is just not for me or anyone who gets bad headaches easily.....) John Lennon was shot outside his apartment in New York in 1980 only 40 years old, if he had lived to the present day (73, to put that in perspective my grandfather is still going strong at 85, so with the right health and such not that impossible) what kind of music would we have had the joy of listening to? Or basically: What did we miss out on? He made 8 albums after the Beatles broke up in 1970, over a 10 year period until his death (with a 5 year break to raise his son) John released 8 albums with many of the songs on these albums considered masterpieces, such prolific song writing with great results could have only meant fantastic things if he had lived longer, painful to think about it really. link <-- John Lennon Wikipedia page EDIT: My posts seem so long compared to everyone else's, I just realised >_<
