Well, I fixed the problem by going to my other save, and got to a part of Firestar's Quest about a meeting? I talked to all the cats, what do I do/where do I go now?

Well...I've never failed in getting a Star Light in the first game, so I dont know much about this but I don't think this is a bug, just part of the game. If you have an earlier save account, go there but if this is your only save file,...I don't think I can help you then.

Help?

Try the following - 1. Talk to Cinderpelt 2. Talk to the empty space (...weird, I know) 3. Rest 3 times 4. Talk to everyone in camp (including Cinderpelt) 5. Check the reports (special reports from the bush) If none of those work, then it may just be a glitch in the game. I know that if you time-out on Cinderpelt's Mission (in the moonstone place) then it makes you automatically flee, so no need to worry, there are quite a few bugs and glitches for missions. The kittypet actually disappeared for me, too, but I got him back somehow. I will re-do the mission and fail at the Star Light part (because I always do, lol XD) and see if I can get him back in any way. EDIT: OK, I got the Catnip and failed the second part. I tried everything but I can't seem to get him to come back. Sorry, I don't think there is any way to get the cat to come back.

Thanks for trying to help, but, is it still possible to continue and start Firestar's quest without beating that part? :/

Considering the game is fairly "play-by-play" [first you must do this to get to this point, etc.] I doubt it. You can ask the administrator, but that's my take on it. In most games, if there is a specific plot to something or a quest, chances are whatever events that make up that plot are required to go through. Little games I know of have alternative ways to go through the game plot-wise. [Starfox Command and I think the Mass Effect series are good examples.]

It's fine, I just used my save that had lv50 and worked back up to lv75 and did the quest fine
EDIT: Question: What do I do after talking to the cats about the meeting during Firestar's Quest? I can't figure out what to do..
