Well, I'm thinking of writing a book.
Like, a BOOK book.
As in, sending it to an editor and hoping to get it published.
I have about $300.00 in my piggy bank right now, which should be 3/1 more than I need. If it doesn't get published, I just send it to a private book company to bounds it into a book for my family and friends to read.
I am dead serious, though. My sister wrote a book, but she didn't want anyone but her close family to read it. But she paid for it herself to get it made into an actual book.
Well, you may want to hear my idea first . . .
The book would be about dragons. WAIT! I know, there's tons of dragon books out there. But each story is unique . . .
Summary:
Over the heaving water of the Ingens Sea lies the Isle of Pax Animus, the island that had inhabited by dragons for millenniums. Among the coniferous forests and tall mountain peaks, the young fledgling Renskallius lives with his family. They live a peaceful life together in a mountain cave. But one night, his older brother, Semallicus, never returned from his lone flight. Now, Renska embarks on a quest, determined to find his lost kin.
But as he journeys, Renska begins to realize that a great evil was responsible. The whole of Pax Animus was in danger . . . and he was destined to save them all.
I know, I know, the summary needs work. I just couldn't think of the right words for it. But what do you think so far? If you didn't understand it, basically Renskallius's, or Renska's for short, brother has gone missing. As he tried to find out what happened to him, Renska began to realize that the kidnap of his brother was due to a great evil. And so basically he's gonna save the Isle of Pax Animus from destruction.
Well?
And please be HONEST! PLEASE!
Also, a few side notes:
Pax Animus means Peace Courage in Latin. I can't decide between that or Pax Tranquillius (Peace Tranquility)
And Ingen means vast in latin, so The Ingen Sea is The Vast Sea
