Video walkthrough for NP game

My computer got broken recently and thanks to that, all the data that I saved in the New Prophecy game for 2~3 months vanished. However, I think that this is a chance to begin the video walkthrough for the New Prophecy game that I planned to do since I watched Piplup's.
I think that the program that Piplup used is fairly good. Is it free? Doesn't it have any errors or viruses? Or is there a better program? Please tell me this and please DON'T let it be a debate about which program is better.

well fraps is good (most of the famous youtube film makers use it, but there could be a serious problem (which i have when installing it) where it will not record for more than 15 seconds. I would look at fraps using and installing guides on youtube.
