so this one isn't really hard to explain:
talk to stormfur he sais that 2 cats are following him.then have recruited 2 cats WITHOUT BRAMBLECLAW AND WITH BROOK!!!
then talk to firestar after your conversation go to the island and talk to the cats.
hunt the rabbit and then talk again to the cats.
go to the mountains nad the cats say they want to go trough the mountais but stoneteller won't let them do that.
then the two cats go in your party be sure your cats are very strong.
you must fight with some special patrol cats(they are stronger than the normal patrols).
TIP1:save before you talk to an cat.
TIP2:heal every cat with catnip after every battle.
at the end of the mountains there's an red cat and not an grey one.
this is the reason why you need brook.
just talk to him and you completed cats in need!!!
now you can recruite tribe cats+feathertail(you need crowflight)
and you can battle eagles.

Yeah, another tip is SAVE BEFORE EACH BATTLE!! That way, if you get killed, or the cats in need get killed, you can select "end game" then, "to tile" then you'll end up where you last saved. Battle Strategy: Have Brook and Stormfur in your party, use River of Rage to induce states, then use Mountain Blast, or Status Blast. Claw Slash and Paw Swipe for cats in need. It worked for me! Also, a shortcut back to the tribes cave is in the bottom right hand corner of the snowy map and the bottom the the mountains, just above the grassy hills. Press space there, and you will teleport back to the cave.

One more thing, when you beat the game, you can talk to Stormfur again and play this subquest over for more AP.
