Has anyone started to find the constant tension between the clans irritating? They're often really touchy and always seem to be bickering over the stupidest things, like a patrol too close to the border. The other I've found irritating is the Clans' arrogance. Every clan assumes they're better than the other clans and that if you don't follow the warrior code then you can't possibly be a good cat.
Their lack of deep-set prejudices is one of the reasons I'm really liking Dawn of the Clans. It's much easier to root for cats when they aren't incredibly close-minded and set in their ways. What are your thoughts on this?
Random Idea: Wouldn't it be interesting if there was a cat in one of the Clans who abhorred violence, but refused to/couldn't be a medicine cat? Maybe he/she could get the Clans to loosen up a bit.

Completely agree, don't think it went one book without some patrol being snippy (personally think mistystar will loosen things up, onestars the opposite from what I remember) makes me not want to read a 5th series if it comes out~

Well, Dawn of the Clans, which is the fifth series, is about how the Clans started, so they aren't anywhere near as arrogant and touchy as the later clans are. It's actually quite good, much better than the last couple of series.

I only read the first book of it, but I thought it was good.
