1. Rains quite a bit, temperature in winter ranges from 1-10C summer is usually 20-25C but last summer we got temperatures up to 30C. 2. That is the old English accent, I've heard it too in movies. We don't speak like that any more though. 3. There are quite a few forests around with a few fields.

I think some parts may still have a little bit of the old English accent, but the first time I heard it in a movie I didn't recognise it at all. No we don't have thanksgiving.

Someone told me that people in England all drink tea at a specific time. Is that true?

Moonstar- I don't know, but I've never heard of it. Snowfeather-It changes from person to person, some people think all Americans are fat, which I know is not true, but then we get quite a lot of fat people in our country too. also some people don't like the accent, but some people like Americans. Whitedove- some people like drinking tea at certain times of the day, like in the morning before they go to work, with their lunch and in the evening. its not exactly a specific time.

Is France England's "best buddy" on how close you two countries are?

Not really, some people like the French, others don't. I've only been to France twice and some of the people there don't seem to like the english much.

- I am aware that there are many different Regional English accents (Examples include Cockney, Scouse, Received Pronounciation (Southern England) ect). Which variation do people in your area tend speak? - What is the general view on those living in the commonwealth nations? (specifically perhaps Australia and Canada)

Blackbolt-I'm not quite sure, it's not any of the ones you listed. I live in south-east england. For your second question, again I'm not too sure.(I'm not into politics) Snowfeather- most girls like them, but almost all the boys don't, including me. Willowleaf- the actual town I live in is about 2 miles from one side to the other, but the village(where all the shops are) is only half a mile long.
