What did you think of the book? It came out a bit ago, but I want to hear your opinions.
I, personally loved it. I thought the names are getting weirder and weirder (Woolytail? Sandgorse?) but I enjoyed the overall plot. Tallstar's also one of my favorite cats. So I'd give it a 4/5 stars.

Same here. I liked how Tallstar knew Jake. And yes, the names are getting weirder.
I've always liked the super editions better than the main series. (Except for the first series maybe.) I just think they are better written. The main series tend to drag on and get boring. I think the Erins should just write 500 page books instead of long series, because in my opinion they're better at writing single books. What do you think?

I kinda agree. I thought the 1st series was best, NP was pretty good, but by the time po3 was around, I agree, I felt like they were dragging out the storylines. And I think it was a bad decision to have the "Power of Three" plot stretch on for two whole series. I didn't really like the whole "powers" idea in the first place, so when it went on for twelves books...
I agree, I like the ebooks and SE's best. Although Mistystar's omen felt kind of like a forced story.
Apparently the next SE (after Bramblestar's, which is about him as leader) is called "Tigerstar's Fury". That sounds interesting.

Yeah, Mistystar's Omen drove me crazy because Mistystar worried so much. It was especially irritating because I already knew Mothwing would stay on as medicine cat.

The thing about MO is that it didn't even tell us anything new, besides revealing Mistystar's a worrywort. We already knew Mothwing revealed herself, that she stayed on as a MC, that cats didn't like her son being the deputy, and that Leopardstar died.

I pretty much drowned heatherstar in my Warrior river of hate once she renamed hoppaw "deadpaw", Along with tossing Palebird to submarine level .
I like Sandgorse's name, I almost threw him in to but he shaped up when he died, and actually loved shrewclaw despite how he acted.I think Talltail's leaving in the book was a little late and he found Sparrow&the rest to fast.
I don't get how Tailstar receiving his life's at the end, Shrewclaw had to go and say they were never friends but He still fought for him at the battle he died.If Shrew was sad to see tallstar go and welcomed him back WHILE giving his last words to him, Wouldn't that mean they were friends? Pulling up the "Warriors don't have to like the cats in their clan but still give their life for them in battle" Was really off.
