Training Ground Subquest

Umm......I'm stuck in the training ground and don't know how to go through it.
More specifically, I'm stuck in the part when a bunch of black and white cats surround me. There is an area where it tells me that I need a headstart, but I don't know what that means and I don't know which way I should go to escape those kitties. Can somebody help me?

At the area where it tells you that you need a headstart, go up a little until you see a weird formation of ponds. Run towards them and you should automatically jump over them, and you can continue on. (If you need other help, or if it isn't clear enough, I wrote a guide. It's linked below.
