Just a quick question. I'm thinking of writing a novel, (still thinking of plots) and these names keep popping up in my mind:
Navaen (Nah-vae-en)
Salux (Sah-luhks)
Metus (Meh-toos)
Kariska (kar-isk-uh)
Revinus (Rehv-en-uhs)
Nidon (Nie-duhn)
Quies (Quee-ehs)
Jasklis (Jaskk-lihss)
Honest opinion. Boring? Dull? Good but not great? Uncreative? Unique? Strange?

I think they're very unique and creative. I particurally like Kariska. It rolls of the tongue nicely. I wouldn't know know how to pronouce some of them without the guide, though.

Quies (Quee-ehs) - I would say this is the weakest name you have on the list, it is not bad but personally i do not like it.
Besides that all the names are great, like Dawn said Kariska rolls off the tongue nicely and is tied for my favorite with Salux. (Salux, Jasklis and Kariska are my favorite)

@blacky: Eh, I kinda threw Quies in there at the last moment. It's actually the Latin word for "silence."

Nidon to me sounds like a shortened down name for one the "nido" pokemon, but yeah, not bad OC names.

They’re strange names, but if you have the right type of story I think they’d sound great.

Quies is my favorite, its cool to say. The others are really good though. The best I can come up with is Reywe XD

I like Sae-lux, but I think if you use that pronunciation it should be spelled differently.
