Maximum Ride Series
Hello everybody! I have found another awesome series! It is about mutant angels, so if you don't think you'll like it, then don't read this, and don't post bad stuff about this series. It is called: Maximum Ride. Just so you know, it has some bad words, so don't blame me if you get a book from this series and it has some bad words in it. I recommend you read this amazing series if you don't know which book/series to read next! It is a very good series, one of the best series I have read (Actually, I'm still reading it, but I'm almost done with it). If you have read this series and have time, you can type a summary of a review, since reviews are usually really long. There is four books, each around 400 pages. They all have over 100 chapters, just because the chapters are all very small. Also, James Patterson, the author of this amazing series, has made a spin-off of the Maximum Ride series. I'm not sure what it is called, and if you can tell me, then I would be happy. I think there is three spin-off books. It helps a lot if you have a pet peeve where you have to end at the end of chapter, since they are so short. Each chapter brings new excitement and leaving the reader wondering what will happen next. He has many novels, but I haven't read any of them. Now, I will put the covers of the four main books:
~Maximum Ride: The angel experiment~
~Maximum Ride: School's out forever~
~Maximum Ride: Saving the world and other extreme sports~
~Maximum Ride: The final warning~
*If I left out something, besides the spin-off series, then please tell me. I'm not sure if I got it right, but I'm pretty sure it's really close, if it isn't right.*
I was going to finish Saving The World and Other Extreme Sports today, but of course my sister had to ruin it. In strings, I was reading while my teacher tuned everyone else's instruments, since I got close to the first person there and had my violin tuned. (I wish he would teach us how to tune our own instruments! ;() Then, when I left went to where I get dismissed. I usually read there, but I couldn't find my book. So, I went back, because I realized that I left my book in the strings room. I couldn't find it and asked my teacher what to do. He told me to e-mail him the title of it and he would e-mail it to all strings students parents. So, when I got home, I e-mailed the title of it to my teacher, then my mom, sister, and I had to run an errand. In the car, my sister told me she had my book... My teacher had already e-mailed the title to every parent for strings students... So, I punched her in her face. xD But she really did deserve it, and I don't regret doing that. It turns out someone in my grade picked it up and handed it to my sister, trusting her to give it to me. In my dismissal area, I told her everything that had happened, but she didn't tell me she had my book... So, tomorrow I have to explain everything to my strings teacher. I hate having siblings a lot of the time, I'm pretty sure my sister does everything she can to ruin my life. xD Well, enough about my horrible day, I will give short character descriptions of the main characters:
~Max/Maximum Ride~
Max is the girl leader of the flock. She is brave, and almost fearless. She gets the ability to fly faster than the rest of the flock somewhere in the series. She is the main character, if you didn't know. She doesn't have a special ability, like the rest of the flock, except for her great leadership.
~Fang~
Fang is the second hand man. He is a boy if you couldn't tell by second hand man. If the flock was a ship crew, he would be the co captain. He isn't shy, but he doesn't talk much. When he does talk, he is usually very hostile. He doesn't have a special ability, either, like Max.
~Iggy~
Iggy is a blind boy. He talks more than Fang, and can get very angry. He has very, VERY, keen hearing, and can usually tell when someone is coming. He is a very good cook, even thought he is blind. His special ability is being able to "see" through his other senses.
~Gazzy/Gasman~
Gazzy is the third youngest of the flock. He is a boy. He has a digesting problem, which causes him to become gassy. His gas can make a normal person faint. He likes setting off bombs. His special ability is to be gassy. Lol...?
~Nudge~
Nudge is a young girl, the second youngest in the flock. She talks a lot. Whatever she touches, she can find information about what it is/who has been there. Her special ability is to get information from an object she touches.
~Angel~
Angel is the youngest girl in the flock, in fact, the youngest person in the whole flock. She is an intelligent girl, even though she is young. Her special ability is that she can send mind messages and read peoples minds.
*Sorry for the short descriptions, I'm not an expert at this series! Sorry I couldn't put the age of all of them. If anyone wants, they can post the flocks ages. Also, if someone wants to add even more to all I've already added, they can reply and add more stuff on. (Heh, I hope I'm not the only person on this forum who has stared/finished this series. ) Alright, now I will put a few words used inn this book that it tells what it means, but you might need a reminder:
Eraser: A mutant person like wolf (Or the other way around. xD) that can morph into a strong wolf like creature. They are one of the flocks worst enemies.
School: A place, like a lab. They experiment on people and animals. After they are mutants, then they are treated like test rats.
Flyboys: Robots that are like Erasers. They have Eraser fur covering up there metal bodies. They are even stronger than Erasers. They can fly well.
Right now there is no other words that can be harder to understand... I guess it wraps this up! You are free to post why you think other people should read it, or why people shouldn't read it. You can post extra things I didn't (Like everyone's age). If you have any other words that people may not understand, you can post them and type your own definition. Sorry if I left out some things, it's getting really late where I live... I can't remember a lot of things right now. xD Also, you can add anything else you want (Of course it has to be about the Maximum Ride series. ) Thanks for reading over all of this information about this series.(It took a really long time for me to make this, I need more brain power. xD) If you're interested in this series, then feel free to go to your library and check out the first book, and enjoy it!
