In my case, my brother bought it, went up to college again, and I started playing it.

Am I the only one that has super over protective parents? A little while ago my brother and I watched the walking dead (god I love that show) my mom found out we recorded it and she deleted every recording then yelled at my brother for letting me watch it then yelled at me saying "It's not proper for a young lady to watch this disgusting thing" High grades don't do anything for me.(The suprising thing is that when my dad came it and saw us watching it he said it was ok as long as I was with someone not what I'd thought he'd say) Edit:Anybody have anything?

Well I don't think the extremely violent/graphic video games should even exist; nobody need to be playing a game where the entire point is killing a bunch of people, but in general I agree that it isn't what causes our nation to fail. In general excessive playing of video games is causing some problems among teenagers/kids, but not neccesarally violent ones in particular, and it's not like video games are making terrorists. I agree with Blackbolt, it all depends on how the kid reacts to the video games.

I'm completely against it. I think everyone should have to pay the same percentage of their income, which of course means the rich do pay more money than the poor, but I just don't think it's fair for the rich to have to give up more of their income. Rich people worked hard to get to that position in life, and it kind of seems a poor reward to just have to pay even more taxes. It could even dissuade people from working hard to achieve a goal of being rich (and I don't think there's anything wrong with people who have a goal to be rich and are working hard to become so), and that would just create more problems. People will want to get that income where they can have the most comfortable lifestyle and the least amount of taxes, and I don't think that's a good thing. Sorry for long-windedness, but I'm kind of passionate about this issue.

the taxes will not be high enough to make living for those who are rich unbearable, they will have more then enough money to survive and put some away for the future. What gets them is their lavish spending habits.

Not all rich people have lavish spending habits... Even though it won't be much higher of a percentage, I think doing it even a little will make it more likely to happen in the future, and the taxes might get higher and higher on the rich until they do have serious problems, and there still remains the fact that it's not really fair to them.

But sometimes if their rich they might have something say a really good income like a really successful business that gives them hundreds and thousands of dollars a week. Those people I don't think would have to much of a problem with the tax law, as I see it if it's like that then they should always have something to spare. If they worked to get it then they should be somewhat the same,if they have just a few million then so-so.It doesn't hurt to go down the list a bit.The poor people who struggle to pay their taxes are finally getting a break from the hardship. Some people think the reason they are poor is just because their lazy pushovers. In truth some of them are but some can't work, like ill or disabled ones. They are sick or can't find a job that can have them (Some places won't take you if you have ill problems) I think it's fair to them.

My views is everyone should pay their dues here. If your rich greedy man who dose nothing but counts how much money they made this hour, then yeah you should have to pay a little bit more for taxes.
This topic actually brings me into my next question/topic, What are your views on well fare? I could go on till the morning with that subject.

My views on welfare are that those who work hard but just cannot manage to make a living deserve it, free-loaders who sit on their butt all day do not. (Also the word i think you where looking for was miser when talking about counting money.)

Pretty much around where I live, people on welfare are just JERKS!. My mom goes on and on about how people used these food stamps or welfare ca$h to buy pop, then go out dump it and bring it back for the 10 cents and profit.

I think there are two sides to this,It just depends what person your talking about.
Bad side-Sometimes it makes people just plain lazy. It's a decent check but sometimes it's given to someone that just doesn't want to look for a job, I understand if your dad/mom as cancer or you have a bad disease. If you plain just don't want to look for a job is something else.people who on welfare get about 490-740 a month (I think) that's enough to buy food and live in a motel (probably not a car though, bike)
Good side-Welfare helps mothers and the elderly that are unable to help themselves or are across a tough time and they need help.
I think maybe a background check would be ok,If you are on welfare you should be checked out.Do you have a disability? Are you very sick? No? If there's nothing wrong and your just being lazy there's no reason to be on it

depends on your previous work history, if you have none an obvious no, however if you worked for several companies over a period of time and made a decent amount of money during that time, it can be assumed you have fallen on hard times and should be given welfare.

I got a big question.
Who do you think is or would make a better president,Obama or Romey?

Obama all the way, if Romney was in power you would not find me saying things kindly towards the U.S. and their president. I watched the interviews, watched him change his opinion every damn minute, but what i really got out of him was that he was bigot and someone who could not be trusted because he changed his opinion to often. (Atleast Obama is ok with gay marriage, everyone should have the right to marry their loved one, no matter race, colour or gender.)

I'm for Romney. I think he's the lesser of two evils. I could spend all day arguing this issue, but I really don't feel like typing all my reasons right now.
And as for the welfare, I agree about the background check. I think it should be the local cities who take care of welfare, because they are more likely to be able to distinguish between those who need the checks and those who are lazy, because they live near them, rather than the government writing a check using tax money for some faceless person that they don't know.

Obama. Because if you got pregnant and you had no idea who the father was, Romney would make it so that you have to raise that child. I understand that it's still a child, but it's still a painful reminder of what transpired on a certain day.

I was going to do this one but i guess forgot about it
What are your thoughts about the pope Benedict Retiring?
I think it was good for him to retire. His health was declining to fast at 85.He might be the first one in a long time but he will need it.If he's sick he can't do what he was meant to do and that could hurt the people.I think he made a good choice and was thinking of everyone

I never really knew much about who's the current pope or who they are. So I can't really say much on that one.
