I doesn't really make to much sense as a American would do it, at a race? and blowing up your own countries building doesn't really prove anything, has to be a terrorist. There's plenty that would love to hurt America, it could really be anyone America does have homegrown terrorist. People who get influenced by the ones from other countries.

On the subject on the last page concerning gay marriage, I agree completely with Dawn. I share her view of this, and while part of it has to do with my religion, there are other reasons as well. If anything, I just wanted to say this: public media these days are always trying to make it look like 30% of the population is LGTBQ, when in reality, less than 8% are. The thing is, they're always talking about how LGTBQ people get bashed and such all the time. Which is true. But from what I've seen, people who don't support it seem to get hated on almost just as much, maybe even more. I've gotten spit on, screamed at, and generally bashed when I say I don't support gay marriage. It's not like I rub it into people's faces, I just calmly say I don't support it when the subject comes up. People have even written "HATER" on my volleyball. Just remember, they aren't the only victims in that topic. Not just on the subject of LGTBQ, either. A lot of people have given me glares and disgusted looks when I tell them I'm Catholic or I don't support abortion. Most of the time, you have to remember, most of us who are against gay marriage/abortion DO NOT think that gay/abortioners are "evil, heartless people" or "filth that must be outlawed" (last one referring more to LGTBQ). Absolutely not. It only takes a few people to set the stereotype for the rest of us! On the contrary, I've met many gays/lesbians are people who have had abortions who are very nice, good people. Most of us definitely don't think they're bad people. Which is why I get annoyed when people call me a hater or when people say, "DON'T H8." We DONT hate! We just think that morally it is not right. The one thing i have against your view point is that it may be morally incorrect for you but not everyone shares your opinions and trying to ruin it for others by not supporting it or trying to prevent it from passing is just wrong.

Well everyone has their own opinion right or not. It's unfair that she's being bashed for it though, It's not normal I can see her point but she doesn't yell out against it like most would (and usaully it's the other way around on who's being yelled at that a least shows some kind of legal process) Another thing to add about gay/lesbeins (didn't add this before) is that while everyone (most) seems to think there different from everyone just because they marry the same gender, really it doesn't change you.My mom had a friend for a few years that's always been gay and I couldn't tell until someone told me a few months ago.Even then he acts like anyone else would but the love life's just different.Same for everyone that's like that mostly they act pretty normal and don't bash on others because they don't support it.

Here's what blew my mind to see on the public news was a "Big documentary on 'Bronies' Nice friendly guys? Or Insane pedophiles?" Ever seance the documentary went up yesterday I've been getting a lot crap from other students at my school being called "gay" I'll add more later as I need to get going here...

I never got what's up with that. Some people think some of my friends are all pinky girly because we like it.Not even close.
seems like your schools kind of a hell (no offence) People are out using the gay word.here it's like if you like to style hair your gay, if you like fashion your gay, if your a guy caring about your looks your gay.People need to realize not everyone can be the same, why do they care what you want to do with your life. The shows great I thought it was girly before I tried it, they need to watch an ep and see that you don't have to be gay to watch it

The word "gay" is being used too freely these days. Way too freely.
It really bugs me that a word once meaning "jolly, happy" now means homosexuality. Pet peeve.
Oh yeah, the gun control got turned down. Yay!

Would not be saying yay. Every time a psycho gets a gun and shoots up a school i will blame those who rejected the bill, every time someone goes on a killing spree i will blame those same people and will hold them accountable for the loss of life.
You know there is a problem with your country if a person can get a gun just as easily as he can buy gum from a store.

^ Except that's exaggerating. People act like you can just walk up to the gun store and buy one. NO. You can't. First, you have to get a license to even buy one. So random suicidal kids can't just walk in there and buy one. Second, the bill restrictions would do nothing but restrict the people who need the guns for protection. It doesn't matter how many background checks, regulations, etc you put on buying guns. The pyschopaths will still find ways to get them. Known terrorists can't walk into a gun shop and buy guns, but yet they still get them. How? Black market. Arms dealers. The real psychopaths would still get a hold of their guns, no matter what restrictions are placed upon them. Because they'll get them illegally. All the restrictions would do is make it even harder for normal people from buying guns for protection.

But you do not need the guns in the first place (well a majority of the population), Time magazine did a great article on what other countries have done to prevent gun violence and how it has been reduced. While America sits by and does nothing. And while i do find Time magazine not that great (I prefer McClain's) that article was very well done. Looking at the map provided many countries have 0-20 guns per person and an extremely low crime rate following it. America is the only country with 60-100 guns per person (35-50% of the worlds civilian guns), surely you do not need that many to defend yourself? (I would understand Russia, India or china having 35-50% of the worlds civilian guns but America? That seems a tad obsessive.) Not to mention Americas gun laws are some of the most lax in the world. Your point about making it hard to get guns.... In Canada we have 20-40 guns per person yet almost everything other the hunting rifles are off limit and you need to go through many background checks. The fact that we are able to get so many guns despite plenty of background checks shows that your point of making it harder is fairly invalid. Not only that but owners need to have a registration certificate with them at all time to prove that they do indeed legally own a gun. Is it any wonder America has the most school shootings?
(It also may be worth taking a look at Micheal Moore's bowling for columbine documentary.)

Ever seance the documentary went up yesterday I've been getting a lot crap from other students at my school being called "gay" I'll add more later as I need to get going here... First I'll finish my story here and then go into the gun control thing. I believe me and my friends are going to end up suing our school here. Apparently the school has known for awhile about the whole "Brony interview and research project" The news station has done before it was aired. They made a list of everyone in the school who was A brony judging by the internet history, what people were waring and such. They've made a list of around fifteen people and have taken away all extra previlages from us saying "We need to get our sick act put away and go back to normal, that the school is doing it for our own good." Bullcrap, I've been taken out of my computer class, loss the ability of a open campus lunch and sit next to girls younger then me at lunch (I have a few friends in a grade below me don't judge T_T), And we all have to ware a uniform now. This crap ain't flying with me all because of some lame misinformed bs they air on the news. ============================================== Now for the gun control thoughts: I'm not happy or mad something has not been done yet now. The background checks need to be more strict and take awhile longer if you ask me. But still! If you make certain guns banned form public or limit the amount you can have, people WHO ARE CRIMINALS AND BRAKE THE LAW ARE STILL GOING TO BRAKE THOSE LAWS! If a guys going to rob a bank and needs a gun, he'll go and either buy a gun (Legally or not) or steal one. If someone's going to go on a killing spree a school and needs one, he'll take one from his parents (if they have one) steal a gun, or use a knife (may not be as useful but to them, what ever will get the job done) ============================================== Alright, now who heard about the big explosion at some fertilizer factory down in Texas?

That first story is terrible! Your school is obviously misinformed and i would definitely look into suing them. Not only do they not have a right to take away those privileges just because you like a tv show, but i would think of this as harassment and leaves you open to bullying. I would not be surprised if one of the kids ends up killing themselves, school will not look to good them i suppose.

Most of the people on "Da list" are people I'm friends with, were trying to get together right now and stay strong until we can get a plan made. Our parents are working on getting a lawyer for me to help handle the case. I think the only "logical" reason the school is doing this is they think we may be "Unknown sex offenders" or some crap like that, that or were trying to lure people into trouble somehow with it. I can't wait to see some Phoenix Wright crap brake down and have some sweet justice served cold

That's horrible..... I didn't think the brony hate could go that far. It's extremely unfair to take all that away from you just because you like a show they don't.Wishing you good luck getting that lawyer.. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As for the gun law (less of now into this) you have to remember that every country isn't America, since Americans have first gotten here they have revolved around guns (less of now but still) they always needed it back then and since generations have gone by it's just still flat out a right to own a gun.We need tighter background checks not just getting rid of guns, taking certain guns off the market would be the better idea.We do need the guns (as i say) for protection and almost any place would need them. You never know when something like a robbery or a murder could come around, it could happen anywhere.Making it harder to get certain guns (like machine guns) and slowing the process of them would work, only ship them of the the army.Making a simple gun is one thing but making a machine gun or a more damaging gun is another story.registration certificate is agreed, not nessisarlly carried around exactly but one would be needed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ And I did hear about the fertilizer factory explosion, my dad knew some people working there that were killed.Hearts go out to the dead and hurt.. a factory could do so much damage..

With the situation I feel like there not doing it mainly cause we just like a show, I think that to them we're people who might try to "get" little girls if you catch my drift. I still view it as very unfair as I'm not that kind of guy.

School logs everyone's internet history. After they previewed the newcast they must have started looking to see if anyone at the school was a brony.

About 'you have to remember that every country isn't America, since Americans have first gotten here they have revolved around guns (less of now but still)' along with every other country (for the time period you are referencing), so what is it: Is America just behind the times? or do they have an unhealthy obsession with guns?

Mainly people just want to stick to the constitution. you could debate "Well who cares, its old and outdated, things change as the times do. Let them go with it, nothing else could go wrong." Well okay, say they start restricting that part of the constitution a little bit. Okay years go by and they try altering another part and another part until most people end up screwed out of their rights and end up dirt poor. Granted though that's just one of the maybe hundreds of possibilities that could happen. Before you know it, I'm going to end up moving out of the area I'm living in. Craps getting worse everyday for a lot of people in society where I'm at. For me, its either to: Another State Canada Or Japan.
