Ok, so I've just moved on to the book Fire and Ice, and FINNALy deafeted Brokenstar for the first time. Then I went to Windclan territory and went to this patch of nettles in the middle of the field when you first enter. Then I entered the code and picked 'a freind' So I went to mothermouth and I've checked everything I can think of, I still cant find Bluestar! {The cat I chose for a 'freind'}

If you haven't gotten past Cinderpelt's accident you may not be able to change your party.

Um, I think he/she means how you are able to recruit Bluestar and the answer is at Mothermouth. You won't be able to recruit her until like at the end of the game.
