no money for the maze (before)
An easy way to get money are the stones you get in the mountains from battling the cats (i forget what it's called) they sell each for 10,000 it might take a while, but you should have around 150,000 before so go threw the mountains battling and you should get enough (thats what i did)

the kitty pet
Use the killing bite from brambleclaw while using these
sandscatter: sandstorm
any other to cat's in your party use
poison bite and paralyzing bite from the other two that should do it
