The paw swipes aren't working on Graypaw, even though I only use them, and I've squandered all my SP. It's the second time that's happened. Is there any way to go back and escape besides closing it and going back to the last save?

Well you can't undo what you've done except by returning to last save, but since you're right at the start of the game that shouldn't be a problem. Heck, you could even do "new game" each time XD

XD I guess so.
Turns out the thing I didn't equip the normal claws.
Thanks to the video walkthroughs (: It helped me figure out what I was missing.
