What's the recommended levels for the 2 cats to have before leaving on the quest? I tried leaving without leveling up much, but it was a big fail and I needed to start over again

i leveled up until around lv 25-30, but i have this habit of training WAAAAAAY to much and finding everything to be to easy. i'd recomend around lv 18-20 though.

I had a REALLY tough time with this. I'd recommend 35 as your safest spot, or at least have one cat at 30+ and the others at least over or equal to 25. If I remember correctly, I started NP after I finished the first game, so I was overconfident and didn't level up much... its best to be safe rather than sorry. Good luck!

If you are too low in level, you have to have a lot of supplies like catnip and antivenom until you reach the first switch spot and you have to train near the switch spot, so it doesn't make any difference if you train a bit more in the camp, only that you don't waste your supplies.
