<Chapter 1> Crookedstar rose from his nest, the pale light of early dawn shining his den. As he stood up, he felt another presence in his den. He tasted the air. Sweet herb scents filled his tongue, along with a very familiar scent of a cat. He was not surprised to see Brambleberry right behind him. "It's good to see you again, Brambleberry. What brings you here?" he asked. The small she-cat's eyes glowed with pride. "I'm so proud of you, Crookedstar! You were a great leader. You will be remembered as one of the greatest leaders of Riverclan." Crookedstar flicked his tail. "Then it is time?" "Yes, I'm afraid. Your friends and families are waiting for you." The huge light-brown tom meowed, "I have lived a good life. I spent my nine lives well. I guess I am contented to go to Starclan." Brambleberry cocked her head. "Then are you ready?" Crookedstar nodded. "I am." "Then follow me," meowed the medicine-cat as she bounded up a starry path that led to the sky. Crookedstar eagerly followed, having a last look at his clan. His fur began to shine with starlight just like Brambleberry.
Leopardfur entered the leader's den. Crookedstar was still sleeping. She touched his fur with her paw. Her spine went cold. The leader's body was cold and stiff. "Mudfur! Mudfur! Come here!" she yowled shakily. Mudfur trotted toward Leopardfur, his fur bristling. He followed her gaze and his eyes darkened as he saw Crookedstar lying still. Mudfur touched his flank. "Is he?" whispered Leopardfur, her eyes wide. "He is," replied the medicine-cat solemnly. By this time, cats were waking up to see what was going on. Mudfur's eyes filled with grief as he announced, "Our leader, Crookedstar has gone to Starclan. Leopardfur will be Riverclan's new leader!"
How do you like it?

<Chapter 2> As Crookedstar bounded up, he had a strange feeling in his jaws. It seemed to move all by itself. Brambleberry looked at him and purred. "Crookedstar, your jaws are fixed! Now you are more handsome than Shellheart!" she declared. Crookedstar purred. Finally, he reached the stretch of land that was above the steps. He turned around and saw all of the cats that he had been missing. Shellheart, Hailstar, Willowbreeze, Silverstream, Minnowkit and Willowkit, Brightsky,...All of his family and most of his friends were there. They purred and nodded at him, but nobody stepped forward. Just when Crookedstar started to feel confused, a pale gray she-cat padded out. He gasped. It was his mother, Rainflower. Her eyes were full of pride, sorrow, and love. She dipped her head. "Crookedstar, I'm sorry. I was wrong to think that you couldn't be a great warrior because of your crooked jaw. Now I'm so proud of you and I'm sorry for what I did. Will you forgive me?" she said sadly. Crookedstar was stunned for a while. He answered, "Yes. Of course I forgive you. You are my mother and that matters more than what you did in the past." Rainflower smiled and to him, she looked beautiful. She licked Crookedstar as if he was a kit-Stormkit again. "Rainflower grieved for a long time for what she has done to you," meowed Shellheart. "I hope you two become mother and son for the first time in many moons." Crookedstar and Rainflower nodded. "Crookedstar, let's go to our camp. It is wonderful," said a familiar voice. Crookedstar looked up. It was Willowbreeze, along with their three kits. "Fine, then. You two explore for a while. But come here at sundown. We need to prepare to give Leopardfur her nine lives," announced Hailstar. They dipped their heads and went towards their new camp, their tails twined together and their three kits walking by their sides.

Was it a little short? I couldn't get to the part where they get to the camp because I have to plan the stuff that is in there.

<Chapter 3> Willowbreeze licked Crookedstar's fur in affection. Crookedstar purred. It was so good to be with her again after many seasons. "Our camp is perfect, Crookedstar! There are always enough prey for all the cats in our fresh-kill pile and the nests are warm and comfortable. There are always fish in the stream four seasons long. And it is never so hot and so cold in Green-leaf and Leaf-bare. Kits can play in the snow without worrying about catching cold," meowed Willowbreeze enthusiastically. Crookedstar purred again and licked her ears. He turned around as he heard a faint mewling behind him. "Who is he, mom?" said a black kit. "Yeah, why are you so close to him?" meowed the other dark gray kit. "He is your father," said Willowbreeze soothingly. "He is your family." The two kits stared at him, wide-eyed. Silverstream went near Crookedstar and whispered, "Sorry. We never told them about you. It is so complicated to them.....Why we live up here and you live on the other side of the clouds." Crookedstar nodded, promising himself that he would spend time with his kits as soon as he had spare time. Suddenly, he saw a clear stream in front of him and cats moving around busily on the other side of the stream. He knew that it was the Riverclan camp and it looked absolutely wonderful. Crookedstar looked around and saw some stepping-stones at the left. Stepping stones, he thought grimly and before he knew it, he was plunged into a memory. Slipping, the terrible pain in his jaws, the never-ending darkness, the sensation of being watched with fear..... "Crookedstar! Crookedstar!" said a familiar, worried voice. He opened his eyes and saw Willowbreeze and Silverstream looking at him anxiously. As Crookedstar stood up, Willowbreeze asked, "What happened?" "It's nothing. You don't have to worry about me," he answered. Silverstream glanced at him and meowed, ¡°I¡¯ll take care of Minnowkit and Willowkit. You need to have some private time together.¡± Crookedstar started to argue, but she was faster. ¡°I¡¯m really okay. And I¡¯ll tell the kits what a great leader you were.¡± He thought for a moment, and nodded. ¡°I guess you are right. I promise I¡¯ll be back soon.¡± Silverstream smiled and herded the kits with her tail towards the stepping-stones that led to camp. ¡°Where do we go now?¡± asked Crookedstar. Willowbreeze pointed to the right and started running. ¡°Race you to the lake!¡± she yowled. Purring, he bounded after her. And he felt that he didn¡¯t feel tired at all. It seemed that new energy was flowing into his legs and he could run forever. Suddenly, Willowbreeze turned left sharply and he followed. He slowed into a walk and stopped. There was the most beautiful lake he had ever seen in his life. The water was clear and its surface was glittering in the bright sunlight. ¡°We call it the Silver Lake,¡± whispered Willowbreeze. Without hesitating, they both jumped into the cool water, disturbing some fish. Feeling like a kit again, Crookedstar sprayed some water onto Willowbreeze. Indignantly shaking her fur, Willowbreeze sprayed water to him with her tail. Crookedstar was happy. It seemed that he never felt happier in his lives.

¡°I¡¯ll ¡° ¡±
You should keep the story going until the battle with the darkforest and show it from riverclan (or crookedstar's) perspective.
