Glitch or just not doing it right?

Help, im at the part where there is a barrel blocking your way and i checked the guide to keep going down and back up and its not working the barrel its still there! could someone please tell me what to do?

Be a lil more descriptive please? Are you in the big twolegplace maze? I don't think the floor tiling and scenery should move around on it's own.......probably you've just hit a dead end in the maze, or you've stumbled upon a barrel that isn't removed until later in the game (Maybe for TMoS subquest?).

Large twoleg place because in the walk through it says keep going down and back up until the barrel is gone and i have been doing it for a half hour and nothing works. do i go around?
