Hey there! you can call me Jaku or lithiumdream.
I remember first playing the original game back when I was in 5th grade, though I forget exactly how old I was / the exact year. I decided on a whim to download the trio of games on my pc the other day, and it's brought back many, many memories.
I would like to express my deep and sincere gratitude to the developers, artists, and anyone involved in the creation of the games, the Weebly site, the walkthroughs, the Let's Plays on Youtube, everyone. To the rest of the internet, this might seem like an outdated dead forum about a few free RPGMaker games based on series of books about strange fictional cats, but to me, it holds a huge chunk of my heart and my childhood.
I'll be honest, I'm coming to the forum mainly to speak with the maker of the best (in my 5th grade mind's personal opinion) walkthrough series on Youtube. Piplup's videos were very close to me, and I even used to quote and reference them with my irl friends as we talked about the game and books at school. I visited his channel quite a while back and found that they have been set to private. My heart dropped for a moment, but I assumed that they would be put back up sooner or later. As they're still offline, I'd sorta like to know the story behind their privatization, and possibly the chance to save or watch them again. I will most likely try and reach out to Piplup myself, though if anyone is currently in contact with him, please let me know how I may find him!
(Sorry if I sound a bit weird or this is repeated in msgs, I'd just really like to be able to see or keep the videos since I still think about them to this day. ^^)
My apologies if this comes off as over professional or anything like that, it's been a while since I've posted on a proper forum and the classic BCCode template inspired me, haha
I most likely will not check back every couple of seconds, if you'd like to reach me quickly, you may message me on Discord! my tag is lithiumdream#7120 .
Thanks again, thank you for reading, and have a great day!
