Just finished making this. I was realizing how many times I needed to think and refer back to my earlier posts about which warriors or apprentices or queens the clan had, so I thought it would just be easier to make the clan for future reference. So here you go if you were ever curious. Riverclan AllegiancesLeader: Minnowstar-light gray tom with black splashes and dark blue eyes Deputy: Thorntail-brown tabby with dark brown tabby stripes, a lighter brown belly, and bright green eyes Apprentice: Ripplepaw Medicine Cat: (Brambleberry)-white she cat with black spots, blue eyes, and a very pink nose Apprentice: Stormpaw/flash -black with white belly and tail tip, green eyes Warriors:Troutwing-silver tom with a black ear and green eyes Stonepelt-dark gray tom with a lighter gray chest and light blue eyes Dawncloud-tortoiseshell she-cat with white belly and paws and bright green eyes Petalbreeze-calico she-cat with amber eyes Apprentice: Lilypaw Beechtail-dark brown tom with a white tail tip and blue eyes Graystream-light gray tom with a white muzzle and blue eyes Stormripple-white she-cat with gray spot on chest and green eyes Mothfur-tan she-cat with white spot on chest and green eyes Flowerfur-orange she-cat with red chest and yellow eyes Swallowfrost-light gray tom with darker grey stripe down his back and up his tail and amber eyes Waspstrike-orange tabby tom with yellow eyes Leopardmist-gray she-cat with black leopard spots, white belly, and blue eyes Frogsong-dark gray/blue tom with green eyes Splashheart-white she-cat with gray ears and a gray tail and blue eyes Apprentice: Russetpaw Pikeleap-jet black tom with green eyes Copperleaf-light brown she-cat with amber eyes Apprentices:Redpaw/splash-tom with red and black splashes with white belly and amber eyes Lilypaw/pool-light gray she-cat with white spot on belly, and white paws and tail tip, and light blue eyes Ripplepaw/strike-jet black she-cat with white front paws and green eyes Queens and Kits:Palebriar-white she-cat with almost white brown ears and paws and green eyes Mate: Graystream Kits: (3 moons old) Grasskit/flame-brown tom with dark brown tabby stripes, a black tail tip, and green eyes Otterkit/light-tortoiseshell she-cat with one white paw and blue eyes Beetlekit/spots-tan tom with gray leopard spots and green eyes Clovershade-brown she-cat with black leopard spots and blue eyes Mate: Troutwing Kits: (1 moon old) Hawkkit/claw-black tom with a brown spot on his chest and amber eyes Kestrelkit/flight-light brown she-cat with a darker brown tail tip and spot on her chest and green eyes Elders:Larkcreek-black she-cat with a white tail tip and blue eyes Deerfern-gray she-cat with black and dark gray tabby stripes and green eyes Aspentooth-dark brown tom with red spot on chest and amber eyes Also, I think this should be on the main post rather than being on a random page (page 17)

(Featherstar would have died regardless, but it will come back later. Also I put the allegiances on the first post)
You nod, hoping he will understand. Minnowstar turns his attention back to the other leaders.
"If I may, I have something the clans need to know." Flashstar looks suspicious, but the older leaders dip their heads and allow him to speak.
"Almost a moon ago, Featherstar died. However, she did not just die. She was murdered, by Leaffeather. We exiled her because of her actions, of course, but that left us with only our medicine cat apprentice to do the healing. Keep in mind though, we are not weak." he glanced at Flashstar as he said that.
"Stormpaw has been given a gift that allows her to see and speak with Starclan warriors while she is awake. They guide her." The clans look a little unsettled about Leaffeather and Stormpaw, but they quiet down after a while, and you say goodbye to the other medicine cats before you head back to your clan. It is late, so you go to sleep, but the next morning, you are woken to Minnowstar calling a clan meeting. As you pad out and sit near the front of the clearing, Minnowstar begins.
"I have discussed a matter with Thorntail, and I have decided that tonight, we will take back Sunningrocks!" The clan erupts into cheers at once, and after it quieted Minnowstar began again.
"Thunderclan has held those rocks for too long. They should belong to us in greenleaf. It has valuable assets for us, and it will prove that even with no full medicine cat, we are not weak! Flashstar was far to sure of his own strength last night. I say we teach him no one can mess with Riverclan!" Everyone nodded in agreement.
"I will lead the first patrol with Stonepelt, Petalbreeze, Beechtail, Graystream, Mothfur, Swallowfrost, Frogsong, Copperleaf, and Lilypaw. Thorntail will lead a second patrol that will come in once Thunderclan tries to get reinforcements. On his patrol will be Troutwing, Dawncloud, Stormripple, Flowerfur, Waspstrike, Leopardmist, Splashheart, Pikeleap, Redpaw, and Ripplepaw. We have the biggest clan in the forest. There is no reason we can't or shouldn't have our own land! Now, Pikeleap, Copperleaf, Redpaw, Lilypaw, and Ripplepaw. This will be your first battle. Remember what your mentors have taught you, don't take on any cat too big, and don't take risks. Since we have a clan this strong, there is no way we will lose this!" As he finished the warriors burst out into excited murmurs and Thorntail sent out the patrols. You look up at Minnowstar, wondering if you agree with this plan.
What do you do?
1.) Ask him to call off the attack 2.) Ask him to talk to Flashstar instead of attack 3.) Let him attack 4.) Give the attack your blessing

Ahh, Riverclan battle tactics... Always pressing the Warrior Code's limitations to get what they want from combat (just look at "The Lost Kits" from Battles of the Clans, they created a hostage situation and almost drowned the kit's father just to get them back). Although it's always fun when Riverclan fights because how methodical their execution is, always playing to their strengths. So, 1 is a no, because of all the reasons that I don't feel like writing down, 2 is no because the fact that "everybody talks too much" is the reason we're in this situation. So that leaves 3 or 4, and that is a question on whether you want to use your powercard in this or not. If we give the blessing, it greatly increases morality going into the battle, but if we lose anyways, it will make it slower to come back from the fight (bad placebo). So, Risk calculations time: So, on the battlefront patrol (primary patrol), there are 10 cats, including the leader with all 9 lives. This patrol has in it: 1 leader, 7 battle-experienced Warriors, 1 non-battle-experienced Warrior, and 1 apprentice. On the Flank patrol (secondary patrol), there are 11 cats, including the deputy. On this patrol has: 1 Deputy, 7 non-battle-experienced Warriors, 1 non-battle-experienced Warrior, 2 apprentices. So, in comparision, the flank patrol just has one extra apprentice with them. All of our Warriors and apprentices are taking part in this battle. If this is how he is planning to spend literally all of the clan's fighting force, then they'll enjoy a boost of a blessing. (So I vote 4) Endnote: The battle tactic Riverclan is using seems more like a Thunderclan tactic (Flank attack to Rout opposition). I feel like Riverclan wouldn't just use the flank for a change of tempo in battle, but rather have the main patrol bait Thunderclan forces to overextend, then have the flank patrol collapse on them from behind and the battlefront patrol rally on the flank patrol, attempting to force them into the river.

(Ok, 4 it is, but just to explain Minnowstar's plan more clearly, he wants Thunderclan to see the half-size attack patrol and get a sufficient amount of cats to defeat that patrol. At that point, the second patrol would join the battle and Thunderclan would be instantly outnumbered almost 2-1 if all goes well. Of course, half of the battles would go towards the river to put pressure on Thunderclan, but I believe it said in some book that Sunningrocks battles were won by who could get higher on the rock and push the other clan off, almost a king-of-the-hill type thing. Anyway, let's go.)
You look up at Minnowstar and nod. Turning around to the rest of the clan, you start a yowl.
"Riverclan! Riverclan!" you yowl, and other cats take up the cheer. They know you have faith in this battle. That evening, the patrols pad quietly out of camp. You decide to stay up comforting the kits and elders while you wait for them. By the time the moon is up, the patrols run back in with almost no scratches. Minnowstar immediately runs up to the front of the clearing.
"We won! Sunningrocks once again belongs to Riverclan!" Everyone cheers loudly, and you share a happy look with Minnowstar.
"Let us have a feast to celebrate!" You nod, and the clan breaks up. You grab a vole and start to head to the medicine cat den with Brambleberry intercepts you.
"You can have that later. You need to check for and fix injuries now." You nod and start looking at each of the warriors. You note a lot of fur torn off, but very few cats had scratches and only 2 so far had anything serious. Petalbreeze has raw pads, as if she scraped her paws against a rock, but that should heal within a day or two. Swallowfrost has a bite in his back leg and a few scratches on his muzzle. The scratches don't worry you, but the bite is deep you aren't sure how long it will be before it heals. Thorntail has a deep scratch in his shoulder that worries you slightly, since it could easily get infected. However, Brambleberry assures you both will heal as long as you treat them properly and make Swallowfrost and Thorntail rest. Stormripple has a torn ear, but it is clean and will heal quickly. Copperleaf has a wretched claw, which you know must be painful for her, but won't hurt for long as long as she rests it. Lilypaw has a bite on her tail that smells of Thunderclan. It looks like whoever was fighting her surprised her from behind. It isn't deep though, so you aren't worried. Redpaw has claw marks in her back as if someone jumped on her, but they didn't pull much more than fur so they should heal soon. When you finish, Brambleberry comes up to you.
"You haven't checked Ripplepaw." She meows evenly. You bow your head. You have been trying to avoid her since you accidentally accused her of murder. But, she is still your clanmate, and your sister, and you are still her medicine cat. You sigh and pad over, checking over Ripplepaw in an awkward silence far longer than you need to. You can see she doesn't have a scratch on her, but you continue to search thoroughly through her fur. You look up as Ripplepaw begins to speak.
"Well aren't you going to say anything?" she meows neutrally.
What do you do?
1.) Apologize for your accusation 2.) Ask how the battle went 3.) Ask how she has been doing 4.) Tell her about how you have been doing 5.) Walk away
By the way, I put a small piece of foreshadowing somewhere in this post. See if you can find it.

Troubled can have my vote

I have added a new rule due to the new overuse of troubled. This is supposed to be based on everyone's opinions, and troubled, or anyone else cannot be put under the pressure of being forced to choose what we will do by himself. Please know that now, and in the future, everyone is supposed to vote for what THEY think is best, and are not allowed to hand their vote off to anyone.

Here is the quote of the new rule:
"You must make your own choice based on your own opinions. You may not hand your vote off to anyone else or choose something just because a person you trust voted it."

Yes, I believe it was Tigerstar's exerpt in one of the field guides where he points out how 'Sunningrock battles are boring' because of how one sided they are with the winner determined by whoever had the high ground. Also, foreshadowing! Great, now I need to read it carefully, and that is always when I notice silly mistakes: "Lilypaw has a bite [on?] her tail". Anyways, I see a few spots that could be foreshadowing, but none of them will effect this particular vote, so I'll wait until later to use them. I just hope the foreshadowing isn't supposed to be cats that aren't on the after-battle report (shout-out to our missing mother. (I would pull up the 1st SSS Warrior cat podcast and try to quote Ravenpaw with one of the times he passively shouts out to a missing member, but it's late, and it's still around time for finals, so shoutout to that shoutout reference, but I'll let you put the pieces together and make it work )) So options time: We need to clear up our relationship, so 5 is a no-go. 1 is too upfront for talking to our sister, she'll likely curl up in a stance of either pity or the 'no-big-deal' one (although, this might not be true, it's been a while since she's last been characterized). In fact, if we take Minnowstar out of the equation, and minus the whole catmint subquest, we've really only been in contact and in a relationship with Brambleberry, anyone would think we're freakin' Goosefeather for crying out loud. Like I think the last time Dawncloud (our mother in case you forgot) was pulled out of the crowd would be way back when we were recommending a deputy (again, minus the catmint subquest). Not to mention we haven't had a single relationship-developing scene in practically forever, so let's not mess it up now. Talking about ourselves/yourself may be an easy thing to talk about when you're not sure what to say, but making the other person dictate the conversation (whether it'd be talking about an event they know that you don't (ex: the battle), or just talking about themselves in general; so that makes 4 not the best option. This leaves us with 2 and 3. I'll go with 2, because it seems to be the conversation starter that is not too upfront, that is involving enough, and is less likely than 3 to have her go bitter on us (it's still there, but it's just, again, less likely to happen). ^^^Does a thought process analysis of the options right as this rule is put in place, totally not helping (https://youtu.be/NzrAgK-tYGg?t=2m <<Not too lazy to bring up that, though) 'I am helping, I am helping' This analysis is what I would place on being the reason why Firepelt and DimLight began to trust my decision making so much. The thing is, doing it helps me organize my thoughts on decisions that are unclear/will likely have a large ripple effect, hence why it, for the most part, has little to no editing in the making (ex: multi-parenthesis and other quickly fixable mistakes). So that is why I do, what I do. ^^^Why I remember that video? My mind sometimes memorizes random things (i.e. the June picture for the calender I had in first grade I still remember was a picture of Mermaid man and Barnacle Boy), and him saying "We are helping, we are helping" there is one of those things that just stuck in my long-term memories. I guess you can consider it as a 'hiccup' when my brain is trying to organize memories, and occasionally it slips a should-be short term memory into my deep mind for me to remember it for years and years and years.

Your analysis is fine, you can keep doing that all you like. Notice I left out any rule about not being allowed to explain your reasoning, or let yourself be influenced by a good argument that you agree with. It's just that your choice should be your choice. If you don't agree or don't understand with part or all of an argument, don't pick the same thing the arguer did. Reading your analysis is one of the most fun things about CYOA, at least to me, and I would never try to stop you from posting them.
Anyway... Option 1- 3 more before we continue Option 2- 2 more before we continue Option 3- 3 more before we continue Option 4- 3 more before we continue Option 5- 3 more before we continue

Ok, I am adding a new rule after the next story post comes out. Once that post is out, all voting will be done by sending me a PM. I will still post how many votes are left for each question, but not who voted what or what their reasoning was. Hopefully that way people can vote unbiasedly.

I vote 1. If we haven't apologized for it yet we might aswell now, how the battle went shouldn't concern us. We already know how it went, we won. That's that.
As a side note, I wish to state that the only reason I had given my vote to troubled in the past was because I felt I had no right deciding about the medicine cat. I haven't had time to read through this thread of..what is it..30ish pages? I'd like to apologize for starting the idea of giving people votes though.

You think about apologizing, but you can't bring yourself to do it. You just hope she knows.
"So...how did the battle go?" you ask quietly. Ripplepaw shrugs.
"We won. The first patrol attacked a border patrol and Thunderclan brought an attack party. They were overconfident and then we surprised them, like we were supposed to." she meows in a monotone.
"Well...how did you specifically do?" You meow after a moment of silence.
"Pretty well I think. I got attacked by an older apprentice, but he wasn't agile enough to hit me. I sent him running back to Thunderclan territory." She continues, still in a single tone with no excitment in her voice.
"Isn't that good? You should be excited." Ripplepaw's head flips towards you and she glares.
"You can't tell me how to feel! I don't have to be excited about a stupid battle!" she growls before running into the apprentice den. That...didn't go so well.
What do you do?
1.) Go after her 2.) Send someone else after her 3.) Check on her tomorrow 4.) Don't check on her at all
Just a reminder, starting now you should pm your votes to me rather than posting them here.

You don't hesitate to run after her. As you enter, you see her in the back corner of the den, facing the wall. You sit near the entrance and she turns around. Her eyes have the shadows of tears.
"Now really, what is wrong? The rest of the clan is thrilled to have such an easy victory. There were barely any injuries! Why are you unhappy?" Ripplepaw turns back to the wall.
"Even if something was wrong, why would I tell you? You never told me anything...like how you wanted to be a medicine cat...or how you had been chosen by Starclan...or how you thought I murdered Featherstar?! You just shut yourself in the medicine den, only leaving to get herbs, suck up to Minnowstar, or go on some grand mission to save the clan! You're Starclan's gift to the forest in exchange for having Leaffeather as our last medicine cat! You're only 7 moons old and you're who Minnowstar turns to every time he has even the slightest bit of doubt. Do you know what it's like to live in the shadow of someone like you!?" Ripplepaw had, during this rant, ran up to you, tears flowing freely from her eyes and her claws digging into the ground. You draw back in hurt and shock.
"I...I'm sorry. But...what does that have to do with the battle today? I didn't have anything to do with it."
"...You did. You began the cheer when we went to battle. I saw the look you shared with Minnowstar. You gave the clan a moral boost just by cheering. Everyone in the clan trusts your judgement." Even as you see the anger and hurt in her eyes, you can also see that she is still hiding something. She's not just unhappy because she is living in your shadow. There's something more she's upset about. You don't want to probe though. It's obvious that you are the last cat she would be comforted by. You realize you didn't see Thorntail congratulate her after the battle. Maybe you should talk to him. Alternatively, you could get Dawncloud. Your mother is the most comforting person you know. If anyone could calm Ripplepaw down and figure out what is wrong, it is probably her.
What do you do?
1.) Keep letting her rant without interjecting 2.) Interject and ask what is really wrong 3.) Find Thorntail and ask about Ripplepaw 4.) Ask Dawncloud to comfort Ripplepaw
