This is basically like Foxfire's "Choose Your Adventure" game, except with a different story and also you can get a bad ending if you choose the wrong option.
Well, let's begin.
Leader:
Redstar
Deputy:
Windwing
Medicine Cat:
Dapplebranch
Warriors:
Willowpatch
Oakbranch
Mapletail
Cherrynose
Apprentices:
Grasspaw
Pinepaw
Sunpaw
Background:
WoodClan is separate from the four other clans at the lake but they do believe in warrior ancestors from StarClan. They’ve adopted some of the customs of those clans and changed them a little to fit their own preference. Most cats in WoodClan are young, so there are no elders yet. WoodClan is surrounded by dense forests and has a large stream that juts out into a bigger river that leads towards the mountains. Their dens are made of brambles and thickets, and the entrance to the camp is formed by two large trees. They eat mainly squirrels, rabbits, shrews, voles, and thrushes; the usual. Redstar used to be a kittypet along with his warrior clanmates who lived in twoleg nests near him. Redstar decided to form his own clan after seeing the exciting life of being a warrior. However, with this excitement comes with fearsome danger out in the forest.
(Mainly) Grasspaw’s Perspective
The pale light of Leaf-Fall’s sun had illuminated the forest with dim beautiful light. Grasspaw had just woken up from his bed of moss in the apprentice den. He sniffed the air, searching for his denmates Pinepaw, and Sunpaw who usually woke him up in the morning. The soft scent of herbs from the medicine den must’ve blocked his nose from finding his friends. He got up and padded out of the den, his eyes fluttered a little until fully awake. Grasspaw looked from side-to-side around the camp. He saw Redstar sitting out in front of his den, watching his clan perform their daily duties. Everyone else seemed to be sharing tongues and eating small meals to start off the day. “Pinepaw! Sunpaw! Stop hiding already!” He called. He walked towards the fresh-kill pile until he was knocked over by two unknown creatures.
“Gotcha!” A golden furred she-cat mewed playfully. She tumbled over with Grasspaw and the other cat.
“Don’t leave yourself so open Grasspaw. You’ve got a lot to learn!” The other cat; a tom with light gray fur snickered.
“Sunpaw! Pinepaw! Grrr….” He gently pushed them off of his body. “Pinepaw, you’re starting to sound more and more like my mentor Windwing.”
“Hehheh…” Pinepaw ran away a tail-length. “Catch me if you can! Com’on Sunpaw, let’s go!”
Grasspaw pounced on Sunpaw before she could run away. “Hah! Just like prey.” He stood up taller to make himself look stronger.
“Hey, let go of me!” Sunpaw yowled.
“Don’t worry Sunpaw, I’ll get you!” Pinepaw called. He began to run towards the two but then stopped in his tracks as he saw Redstar padding up to them. Grasspaw let go of Sunpaw and prepared for a scolding from his leader.
“I’m sorry Redstar.” Grasspaw said before he could talk.
“Huh? Sorry for what? Anyways, I was going to ask you three if you can go help make the walls to our dens more sturdy by gathering some thickets. I can tell this coming Leaf-Bare will be intense.”
Grasspaw sighed in relief. “Oh sure Redstar. Well, do you two agree?” He glanced back at Pinepaw and Sunpaw. They nodded their heads.
“Thanks. You three may just be given your warrior names soon.” Redstar said and then padded towards the medicine den.
“Okay we shoul-“ Grasspaw was interrupted.
“Grasspaw!” Grasspaw recognized his mentor’s voice, it was Windwing. Her voice was always recognizable due to its high pitch. “Oh good, and you have your friends too. How would you three like to go hunting with me and Mapletail?” Pinepaw and Sunpaw exchanged confused glances and then turned towards Grasspaw for an answer.
“What do you think Grasspaw?”
Grasspaw stuttered. “I-I…”
(Now you get to vote in the poll to decide what Grasspaw should do/say.)
