"Th' name's, Jadevine. I used to be a warrior in HeavenClan, and I still consider myself to be one, but I've been trying to find my friend that has gotten lost somewhere around here. I've spent countless moons searching these woods for him but seems like I ain't have no luck. Been living in a den I created ever since, and I'm starting to wonder if he left these woods without saying anything to me." He paused with a sullen expression falling over his face. He then changed back into his regular slight smile, and then glanced over at Cheetahfur and the others from the corner of his eye. "Say, are any of you hungry or tired? I got a den full of fresh prey that I caught this mornin'."
Mistpaw looked unsure, but now that Jadevine mentioned it, he did feel a little hungry. Sure, he could wait to eat, but after what happened with the snakes, he wanted to get his mind off of the terrifying environment they were in. "Ummm... What do you think Mudsplash and Cheetahfur? Should we follow him?"
"It's alright if you don't trust me. I reckon that's normal since I'm a stranger."

Mudsplash eyed him warily. Jadevine didn't look too threatening, and Mudsplash was pretty sure they could beat him if it came to that. Besides, it was extremely unlikely Jadevine could see as well as Mudsplash could, and even if he did, he wouldn't know that Mudsplash could see through the mist. So, if Jadevine tried to lead them into a trap, Mudsplash was pretty sure he would be able avert it. "We might as well," he said.

"Sure. I don't see how its any safer out here." Cheetahfur said. she was starting to feel uneasy, like something was watching the four cats. suddenly, an ominous growling sound echoed through the woods. it sounded like it was coming from... "and fresh-kill sounds fantastic right now." she added.

"Alrighty."
"Wait-" Mistpaw interrupted. Jadevine glanced back curiously. "Did anyone else hear that?"
"Hear what?"
"That growling noise..."
"Probably yer' stomach!" He chuckled. "Com'on, I got loads of prey waiting for ya."
Mistpaw shrugged it off. He was sure he heard something, but he decided it was best not to talk about it further. After venturing deeper in the DeepWoods, Jadevine skidded to a halt in front of a pathway that split into three directions. Mistpaw saw him sniff the air calmly and then frantically, as if he had gotten an invisible thorn stuck in the side of his nose. There were three paths, one on the left, one in the middle, and the other on the right. The left path contained a low SSSsss noise, the middle path sounded like water crashing down onto the ground, and the right path was quiet.
"Hey Jadevine, how do you even find your way through this forest? I mean, it's so foggy!"
"Well, when I first got here I could only rely on my senses other than sight, but now I got most of this place mapped out in my brain! HeavenClan knows how long I've been in here. But..." He hesitated. "I can't remember which way it was to the den, I think it was the path to the left, no no- it was the path to the right! I think. Hold up, let me check this way-" Jadevine padded over to the left path and shrieked back in shock. "Nevermind! There's snakes yonder!"
He sighed. "Aaah, my poor old nose, I used ta' be able to smell from HeavenClan to ChaosClan. From what I remember, The den was hidden next to a peaceful little pond, where you could actually see without the fog blindin' ya. Well there's only 2 paths that we can take now..."
Mistpaw sniffed the air like Jadevine did. The middle path smelled of fresh falling water, and there was another smell that he couldn't distinguish. The right path smelled of marshy wetlands, and Mistpaw thought he could see a few little reeds sticking up from a distance, but he wasn't too sure. "Which way should we go?"

(it totally is though.)
Cheetahfur sniffed the air. she got the same results as Mistpaw, but she seemed a little more wary about the path leading forward. "I think we should go to the right. there's a smell by the waterfall that I'm not familiar with." she said, shivering at a memory of the howling creature from before.

Mudsplash disagreed. "I don't think we should go in the marshland. Who knows what sort of creatures are there? There could be leeches and things, and it'd be really easy to get lost."

"Well? What about you, young'un?" Jadevine asked Mistpaw.
"Uhmm... Well, maybe Mudsplash is right. I mean, I do hear water, after all." Mistpaw decided. "Besides, if it is the wrong way, we can always trace our steps back, right?"
"Suit yer' self. Night should be fallin' soon though, so we better hurry up while there's still daylight." Jadevine bounded down the middle path.
Along the way, they finally reached the waterfall which was creating even more mist that made Mistpaw's eyes completely useless. He would have to rely on his other senses, like Jadevine did. The terrain had changed from grass to solid, pointy stone. Mistpaw could hear Jadevine's grunts and snorts as he shifted among the rocks underpaw.
"Huh, I don't think I ever visited this place yet. But I can tell that this is going to be a pretty steep drop as we go down here. Tell ya what, why don't we hold on to-"
Mistpaw heard Jadevine's voice suddenly stop and then heard a scream followed by a small thud. "Jadevine? Jadevine?! Jadevinnnnneeeee!!!!" Mistpaw padded over to where he last heard his voice and felt a small ledge from where he possibly could have dropped... or worst. They seemed to be on some sort of mountain with rocky ledges that dropped one after another; it was like climbing up the cloudy stairs in HeavenClan. Mistpaw gazed underneath him at the ledge below, but he remembered he couldn't see that well. "Jadevine?"
"Unghhh... I'm okay lil' guy, 'twas just a slight fall. Watch yer' step as you be coming down this path." He warned. "I can hear a river flowing at the bottom, so my den must be near. Just gotta find the pond that I'm used ta seeing."
Mistpaw sighed in relief. Even though he had known the brown warrior for such a short amount of time, he had grown to like him. Besides, he did say he was a fellow HeavenClan member after all. "Okay, I'm coming, com'on Mudsplash and Cheetahfur!"

Mudsplash started carefully picking his way down the slope. His ability to see through the fog made it easier, but not much.

( Danny What's happening atm is Cheetahfur, Mistpaw, and Mudsplash went looking for the Goldrose that's somewhere in the DeepWoods. So they went there, got attacked by hordes of snakes, then met up with a cat that lives inside the DeepWoods and his name is Jadevine. Jadevine is now leading them all through the fogginess and they are now going down a steep mountain that's next to a waterfall. As for the main story, Nightheart and Tristar, the leader of HeavenClan, went missing. After an attack by ChaosClan in the night, the warriors decided to raid the ChaosClan camp to find their missing clan members, and Featherstep and Honeythorn have already snuck in. However, since Willowleaf is gone for awhile, this has stopped until she returns. I think I covered everything!)

Thanks)) Lionclaw was outside in the Hunting Grounds, sniffing the air for prey. Hunting was his second top favorite, as it provided food for the Clan. He would never, ever eat during hunting no matter how much his stomach grumbled. He would wait until the elders, queens and kits have eaten, then he would join in with the apprentices and warriors eating. He sniffed out a plump rabbit and got into a hunter's crouch.

(Lol, I just realized, but is HeavenClan even guarded right now? Most of the cats have left.)

(I don't think so).
Mudsplash landed with a thump on the ground, having made it down safely.

Lionclaw went closer and closer to the rabbit. Finally, he stopped getting closer and launched himself into the air, pouncing on the rabbit and making a swift kill. He looked at his paws - he caught the rabbit! He happily smiled, before burying the rabbit and then sniffing the air for prey.

(maybe I offered him to come, but he declined because he knew someone had to guard the camp, being the loyal clan member that he is.)
Cheetahfur trotted carefully behind Jadevine, spooked by what had just happened. She thought he had fallen of a cliff! thank goodness he hadn't. (I was very tempted to type Starclan, but were higher than them...) she planed on asking him a few questions and was hoping for some answers. there were still a few things she didn't understand...

Mistpaw stopped in behind Jadevine as everyone finally reached the bottom of the mountain. The mist had cleared up a bit, and he could slightly see a narrow river running down into the distance. In front of them was a large plot of open land, littered with random patches of snow and sand, and with just a few needles of grass sticking out every now and then. It was as if this part of the forest had no sense of seasons or weather and not even temperature had made a difference to the snow. To the left of the river and the patched land was more of the forested areas, but Mistpaw didn't feel like getting lost at this moment.
Jadevine looked around and scented the air once more. He then turned around to face his three companions. He glanced at Cheetahfur curiously and then turned away, his casual half-smile still on his face. "Hmm, I think we're getting close. After we cross this odd piece o' land, my den should be in eyesight." "Be careful though, you never know when there could be a trap." He turned around and cautiously padded across.
Mistpaw noticed that the area across this part of land was normal and had no snow or sand at all. He decided not to think much of it and followed behind Jadevine.

Cheetahfur looked across the odd land scape. there was no rhyme or rhythm to this place what-so-ever. she wondered what else there was in this place that was unnatural. rabbit-mice? giant snakes? talking foxes? her imagination was running rampant and took up her thoughts so that she didn't notice the strange look Jadevine had given her. she padded along, then asked Jadevine, "so, what goes on in here? this place is extremely dangerous and I wonder how you've been able to survive. I mean, there's got to be more than snakes right? this place is perfect for poisonous plants, sure, but snakes cant be the only dangerous living thing in here. aren't there any badgers or foxes in the DeepWoods?"
