My Dragon Story (temporary title) parts 3 and 4 up

I made this story last year and they are all short... (so far only 9 parts...) I will post 2 parts per post... so yeah... here's parts 1 and 2

Part 1

1.A Mysterious Explosion

There are times when being an FBI agent may seem harder then it would be. Sometimes things may seem strange. My name is Shana and I'm an 18 year old FBI agent and one of the best ones. Today was one of thoughs days when I was on a mission to find out about an explosion that was heard at an abandoned building on the edge of town. My team and myself drove there and once there, we approached the worn down rickety building, which looked like it could come down at any second if too much weight were to be brought onto it. I looked at one of my partners and said,
"Stay here. I'll take a look."
As I slowly walked in, the inside had broken and dusty floor boards, cobwebs on each corner of each wall, broken windows, and the smell of mold.
"This place smells horrid..." I then scanned my surroundings until I spotted a large black hole which smelled of smoke in the back of the building,
"Is that what I'm looking for?" I thought it would be nothing at first until I came up close to it. That's when I spotted something which looked to be a huge black rock,
"A meteor maybe? No... How could a meteor create an explosion?" I never really understood, but then I thought,
"Unless the explosion was made when this meteor crashed into some gas pipes." It did make sense really, but then I heard hissing of some sort and when I turned around, what I saw was truly amazing yet looking at it also scared me.

Part 2

2. The First Meeting

I stood there with eyes widened at what I saw. A scaly body, large blue wings, claws, a long scaly blue tail, horns, sharp teeth, reptile eyes, and a snout. What seemed to be a myth was actually true,
"A dragon..." I wondered why such a rare and beautiful creature actually existed or why it hadn't attacked me. So for some odd reason, I slowly reach out to touch the dragons snout to try and show myself as no threat and the next thing that shocked me was that it gently pushed its head into my hand. Then I hear a voice in my head,
"Human... I have been watching you protect the people you love... I watch you when you are asleep and look into your dreams... You secretly kept these dreams to yourself... you've wished that dragons were actually real and you've dreamed every night being with them or becoming one yourself..." I felt like this wasn't real. I even kept telling myself over and over that this isn't happening, but for a fact from what this dragon said about my dreams was in fact true. I've always dreamed about walking along side them or becoming one myself. So I replied,
"Yes its true... But there's no way any of it can be done..." The next thing I hear really surprised me,
"Oh Shana... If you really and truly wish to be with us then you have to have a strong belief... Just look behind you." And that's just what I did. I turned my head and noticed something long, black, and scaly,
"A... Tail? No... This can't be happening..." I turned back to the dragon and realized,
"How did you know my name and how did I grow a tail?" That's when I heard a faint chuckling coming from this dragon,
"I know your name because as I've said, I've been watching you... And as for that tail, it grew from your belief in us." Belief? I never really would have guessed that. The next thing I heard though was my name being called from the outside, which caused me to turn my head to look, but when I turned back to say something to the dragon, it was gone and when I looked back to see if my so called 'tail' was there, it too was gone,
"It had to be some kind of dream... It just had to be..." I lightly shook my head then walked over to where that hole was, but it too had disappeared. Now I just thought I was going crazy. I then turned and walked out of the building.

Part 3

3. A Sign

I awoke the next morning laying on my bed in my darkened room. The walls were painted black and the curtains on my windows were white. I guess anyone could say that I like both thoughs colors. I slowly sat up thinking about all that had happened the night before. A dragon that actually exists and me growing a tail. I still didn't exactly believe it was real and for some reason, I thought it wouldn't happen again no matter how much I believed in these dragons I grew up believing in, but I was horribly wrong. As I get up and get ready to go to the FBI building, I head into the bathroom and look into the mirror,
"I need to focus on my work today... I can't keep worrying over that dragon I saw... Plus I still need to report everything that there was no signs of that explosion excluding the dragon as no one would believe me if I told them..." I shook my head and looked into the large clear mirror and my eyes widened when I looked at my face to see that it had changed. I had a muzzle, sharp teeth, reptile eyes, long horns, and black scales, but when I reached up and touched my face, all I felt was smooth skin,
"Something is wrong here... First the tail and next it my face which looks like a dragons even though nothing is there... What next?" Maybe it was some king of sign? I then sighed and headed downstairs seeing my fiancee at the kitchen table eating a bowl of cereal. His name is Keith and I fell in love with him during high school. He proposed to me a few weeks ago, but I know for a fact that we can't get married until he turns 21 and right now he's only 19, but I'm just glad we are together anyways. There are times though when couples keep secrets from one another, but as for me, I've never kept a secret from him before, but this time it seems I had to... Since he probably wouldn't believe me. Then I hear him speak,
"So... You have to go to the office today?" I always go to the office every morning when I'm not on my day off so I can check about any cases that needed to be done,
"Yeah you know that love." That's when I notice him staring at me like I had something on my mine, which I do,
"Is something wrong Shana? You don't seem like yourself today." I figured he must have caught on and I sigh,
"I'm just tired from yesterday's mission..." I see Keith nod,
"You mean from that explosion you told me about before you left to investigate it?" I nod in return. I guess I tell him too much about some missions I do, but the only reason is because I don't like to worry him very much at all,
"Yeah... Turns out that there was no signs of any explosions..." Most of the time he'd know of I was hiding something from him and for once I would think he wouldn't notice, but again I was wrong,
"I know your hiding something... But you know you can tell me anything... I'll listen..." I look down to the floor,
"W-well... As I went into the abandoned building to find out about the explosion, I see this large black hole which smelled of smoke. I looked in and saw this black rock which looked exactly like a meteor. Anyways, when I turned around, you wouldn't believe what I saw." I could see Keith's eyes grow with curiosity,
"What? What did you see?" I could even tell by how he sounded that he was curious,
"Like I said, you won't believe this, but I saw a dragon... At first I was scared, but I approached it and it told me that it has been watching me." Now I can see the look on his face showing he only half believed me,
"Well... Also said that its been watching my dreams... I've never told anyone this and not even you, but I've always believed in dragons even though I thought they didn't exist... And I've always wanted to walk along side them and to even become one..." I continued by telling him that I could become one if I believed strongly enough and when it told me to look around, I saw the tail. Then a minute after my name was called and turned to look at the dragon, it was gone and so was my tail and the large black hole like it was never there to begin with,
"So that's what happened... Well... I don't exactly believe all of what you said and I understand that you love dragons and wanting to be with them... But you need to move on from what happened and keep on going instead of thinking about it all the time." Keith's words usually incur-aged me, but this time it didn't.

Part 4

4. The Final Meeting

As the day went on and today's mission was over, I walked into my house which was complete silent. Keith was still at work as a police man. I go into our room and flop down onto the bed,
"Its strange how some things are... I see my face in the mirror looking like a dragon, I see a tail that I somehow grew during yesterdays mission along with seeing a dragon... Maybe these are signs of something that is to happen..." By the time time I stopped talking, I heard the front door open and I instantly sat up when I hear footsteps heading into the bedroom. Then I see Keith walk in and sit down next to me,
"How was work?" Keith shrugged,
"Same old same old... What about you?" I couldn't help, but giggle a bit,
"Same here... Chasing people down, interrogating... You know..." Keith nodded then gave me a gentle and deep kiss. After a few hours had gone by, we went to bed. Of course as soon as I fell asleep, I fell into my dreams, but this one wasn't normal. What I saw was the same blue dragon that I saw yesterday and we were surrounded by darkness,
"You... Why are you in my dreams?" This I didn't quite understand, but I knew that I needed to ask. Then it said,
"Don't forget I can look into dreams and even enter them at will..." Now I was confused,
"No you didn't say anything about entering dreams..."
"I didn't? Well I told you now... Anyways, I wish to ask... Do you wish to walk along side us?" Of course I do, but I still didn't know it was possible.
"Well... You I do, but what does-" I suddenly got cut off,
"Do you truely think you believe enough to be by our side? Because if you don't believe strongly enough, then it won't come true at all..." This time I was possitive. I defanently wanted to be by their side,
"I do believe..."
"Then we will see what will happen..." Then the dragon fadded and I was left alone in my dream.
