Hey guys, I saw that there were no completed text walkthroughs, so I figured I'd try to make one myself. I've finished The Sight and haven't finished the game. I'll start where I am and finish the beginning when I'm done with the game.
I've started at the part where you play as Jaypaw to do Lionpaw's apprentice duties for some reason. This is after meeting with Heatherpaw in the tunnels for the first time.
Moves
Mistyfoot has a great completed moves guide here.
Getting Experience
I noticed that hunting gives you experience. You get 30 EXP for every prey item you catch.
Early game, re-battling the fox cubs gives you 1000 EXP or so. After that starts taking forever, and you've gone on the journey to the Tribe, you can go back to the map with the snowman and train there. After that gets old, go to where you got the wintergreen and tormentail and battle there.
Getting Acorns
If you hunt fish at the lake, you get 100A per fish. Plus you don't have to look out for foxes so you can watch a video while spamming enter. You also get EXP. Just be careful that you don't waste your time, as after you get 99 fish, you don't get any more no matter how many times it says you did.
Hunting pheasants and rabbits at the little red flowers gets you more bang for your buck - or more buck for your bang, I guess. You do have to look out for foxes but you don't have to worry about battling the mice. Again, you get EXP too.
Poultices
You really can't profit from these until you're a middle level, but I'll give you stats anyway.
Defense (level 0) - Cost:200A - Sell:100A - EXP:3
Attack (level 4) - Cost:300A - Sell:175A - EXP:7
Skill (level 8) - Cost:250A - Sell:125A - EXP:15
Healing (level 13) - Cost:150A - Sell:250A - EXP:21
Status (level 19) - Cost:4500A - Sell:2500A - EXP:31
Gameplay Tips
I suggest you get a map tablet as soon as you can. It's 10,000A, but it's worth it. Trust me.
Hold shift to sprint.
Do not - DO NOT - run into the foxes that roam the undergrowth until you're level 20 or so. You can get lucky with just a fox cub, or you could get two fox cubs and a full-grown fox. Save often at night in case you accidentally bump into one.
It's really irritating when said foxes block the 1-block wide paths in the undergrowth. They don't disappear when you fight them. Wait them out or find another way.
I usually grab moss every time I pass a moss square. It saves me a lot of time hunting for it when I have to get some for Longtail.
Speaking of Longtail, mouse bile for him is pretty expensive. It's 8,500A every time. Make sure you have the money for it.
Walkthrough
Eclipse
Do your duties as normal. You've got more of them this time.
After your duties are completed, you'll turn into Hollypaw, who says she has a hunting assessment. Go out of camp and Brackenfur with be at the bottom left corner of the area. Talk to him and he will tell you to hunt at the Sky Oak. He'll say it's just north of the lake. It's not. It's in WindClan territory, so don't go all the way down to the lake. Go to the left and up. That little bush looking thing is the Sky Oak. Walk on it and it will teleport you. Save your game here.
Talk to Spiderleg. He says that Cinderpaw is climbing the Sky Oak. Cinderpaw falls. A timer starts in the upper right hand corner. You have four minutes to get to camp and get Leafpool. If you know where to go, you can get there in 30 seconds, tops. The timer doesn't stop until you finish talking to Leafpool. She says you should go with her, so walk all the way back to the Sky Oak.
Talk to Leafpool. She says something about Cinderpaw being given a second chance. She says they should go back to camp. Go back to camp.
I suggest you hunt as much as you can on the way back. It takes a lot of A to train your herb grinding skill if you haven't already. A lot of A. More than 20,000A if you start from level zero.
When you get to camp, go to the back of the medicine den and talk to Leafpool. You turn into Jaypaw and she asks you to make a Healing Poultice. You have to be level 13 in herb grinding in order to make this. You can tell Leafpool no and go boost up your level if you haven't already.
After you give her the poultice, talk to Cinderpaw to lay down next to her. You will share her dream. She points out the features of the old ThunderClan camp and says that was her old life. You're sure she will make a full recovery.
Go back to your den and sleep three times. You wake up as Lionpaw who has a dream about the Dark Forest. Sleep another three times and the game will tell you to patrol the WindClan border. Go there and you will see a four cats. Talk to the brown one next to the orange one, and they will argue about a squirrel.
Sleep another three times and you will wake up as Hollypaw. The game will tell you there's a Gathering. Leave camp and talk to Firestar to get teleported there. Go and talk to Heatherpaw who says there are more RiverClan cats than normal. The Gathering starts and Leopardstar says that they had to leave camp and are living on the island. You are teleported back to camp.
Sleep once and you wake up as Jaypaw. Talk to Leafpool who says to meet her by the lake. Go down to the lake and talk to her. Go to the shore and she will be by the moss gathering spot. You see a stick on the ground. Try to talk to said stick and it'll say that it's calling to you. It starts raining. Leafpool yells at you for getting distracted. Both her and the stick disappear.
Go back to camp. A message pops up saying you should go at night. Make it nighttime. When you leave the den, you run into Lionpaw, who says he was at the Dirtplace. You can tell he's lying. Pick your only option for the first two choices. You can pick either choice on the last one. Go all the way back to the lakeshore. The stick is there again. Talk to it and you'll get the option to move it to a rock. Hit "Ok" and you'll be teleported back to camp.
Sleep through a night and you'll get apprentice duties again.
After you complete your duties, you'll be told to train with your mentor. Talk to Lionpaw and he will disappear. Go out of camp and into the forest. Talk to Ashfur and he'll say you're learning badger defense. Before you can begin, Lionpaw has a vision of Tigerstar. He is taught a move and returns to the real world. Brambleclaw recognizes the move. You see a flashback and Ashfur disappears. You are now Lionpaw.
Sleep three times and you wake up as Hollypaw, who says she must go to RiverClan because she is worried about Willowpaw. She says she will sneak through WindClan territory. Jaypaw warns you to be careful. Go to WindClan territory. Go to the right and all the way down until you reach a bunch of rocks. Go down the only open path until you reach a cat. Do NOT talk to them, or you will be teleported back to the beginning of WindClan territory. Move to the right.
Go all the way to the top of the map and move to the left until you see a path of grass. Move onto it and you teleport. Move up into the island. Talk to the gray cat, who says to meet her on the marsh. Go to the large map and go all the way to the left and down until you see a teleport spot. Go through the old camp until you see Willowpaw. Talk to her.
A twoleg comes. They don't bother you, but Willowpaw says this is why they can't use their camp. If you try to go back, you run into a golden cat. Talk to her and she will yell at you. Pick "go willingly" and Hollypaw will collapse. You get teleported to Jaypaw who thinks he should go check on the stick by the lake. So, go to the lake and talk to the stick.
You have a vision of Fallen Leaves's trial to become a sharpclaw. Go back to camp. Sleep once and you wake up as Lionpaw, who is meeting Heatherpaw again. Make it nighttime and go into the tunnels. Go all the way back to the clearing you met her in before, which is far-ish to the northeast. When you talk to her, she says she likes meeting you and wants to come back tomorrow. You tell her that Hollypaw is missing and she says she'll keep an eye out. She disappears and when you go to leave you see Hawkfrost. He teleports you to the Dark Forest where Tigerstar suggests you should attack WindClan through the tunnels. You wake up.
When you exit the tunnels, WindClan warriors are on your territory. If you talk to Breezepaw (on the right,) a battle begins. There are two warriors and, of course, Breezepaw.
---Breezepaw---
Swirling Winds attacks you twice. They do have Stunning Bite, too. Make sure you have a lot of pheasants/catnip on you. It took me about ten-fifteen turns just to kill the first warrior at level ~19. Alone, Breezepaw doesn't hurt you very much. Like I said, Swirling Winds attacks twice, which at most can do ~400 damage per attack. This means one character could potentially be damaged 800 points. Heal generously.
Breezepaw also uses Greater Remedy a lot, at least in my battle. I mean a lot. Once every three turns or so. It was ridiculous. Of course, at my level, it was an advantage since I had no status attacks and he just wasted turns all the time. Maybe it's a sign that I should be leveling up more.
Also, when he heals, he heals over and over and over. ~300 hp per. It's annoying when you do 1-2 hundred damage per attack, especially if one of your characters is paralyzed. He got back a good 500 hp (including attacks) in three turns when my Lionpaw was down. Thankfully it didn't take long after that to defeat him.
--------------------
Go to sleep and the game will tell you to meet with Heatherpaw for the last time. Make it night and head into the tunnels and go talk to Heatherpaw. Tell her you have to be loyal to your Clan and she is sad but lets you leave without much difficulty. Go back to camp and sleep.
You wake up as Hollypaw. Talk to the cat on the right and say you want to go home. They tell you no and then Squirrelflight comes in and gets you back. Walk through WindClan territory back to camp and go to sleep.
You wake up as Jaypaw. Go talk to Leafpool and she asks Hollypaw (?) to accompany her to the WindClan camp to talk to Onestar. Accept and meet her back at the WindClan border. Talk to her and she says you'll have to wait for an escort. walk around her and a warrior comes to meet you. They escort you to their camp and tell you to talk to their leader. The second you take a step forward a queen yells that her kits are gone. You are teleported back to camp.
Go into the apprentices' den and talk to Lionpaw, who says he knows where the kits are and that Jaypaw has to follow him. You turn into Lionpaw. When you exit the den, the game tells you it's starting to rain. It rains harder when you get to the forest. You hear water in the tunnels. Talk to Hollypaw, who says you have to find the kits or a battle could begin. Go to the north and a bit to the east. They're on a land bridge, but not where you met Heatherpaw. They're much closer to the entrance. If you've explored the caves and remember the message, "A determined warrior could be able to jump this gap," then that's where you're going. Talk to Jaypaw, who says he's got a bad feeling about this. He knows about Fallen Leaves, and how he drowned when it rained in the tunnels. He says he scents cats up ahead.
(I froze my game by talking to Jaypaw again.)
If you run onto the "determined warrior" gap space, you'll see Breezepaw and Heatherpaw. Breezepaw gets angry, but you jump the gap anyway. He says he scents cats to the right, so go to the right. after two squares, you'll see all the cats around some boulders. Talk to Breezepaw and he jumps in to save the kits but gets washed away from them. Talk to Jaypaw and Heatherpaw will tell you that she will always love you. You prepare for the worst. Jaypaw has an idea and orders everyone into the water. You get washed out into the lake. Talk to the cat closest to you. They rush to stop the battle. Turns out that Fallen Leaves told Jaypaw what to do.
Go to the WindClan border. Talk to Firestar, who praises you for preventing a battle. You can teleport to camp with him. Go to sleep and you'll get more apprentice duties.
After you finish your duties, you turn into Jaypaw. Talk to Leafpool who asks if you're okay. Tell her yes, then sleep three times. When you exit the den, Firestar calls a Clan meeting for an apprentice ceremony. It's actually a warrior ceremony, but whatever. Mousepaw, Hazelpaw, and Berrypaw become Mousewhisker, Hazeltail, and Berrynose. Sleep again and you wake up as Hollypaw. Exit the den and talk to Firestar who is near the entrance. He wants you to patrol with him by the ShadowClan border. So go all the way to ShadowClan.
When you get there, there are a whole bunch of cats. Talk to Firestar who demands Blackstar release his warriors. Berryfur (Berrynose) says they accidentally chased a squirrel over the border and Blackstar lets them go. Go back to camp.
Sleep three times and you turn into Jaypaw again. Talk to Leafpool who says there is a medicine cat gathering and asks if you're ready to go. Make it night and go to the Moonpool. You will meet Rock. He suggests you go to the mountains. Then, you enter Leafpool's dream. You see that she loved Crowfeather. Go back to camp. Sleep three times and you wake up as Lionpaw. Go into the forest and talk to Ashfur, who fights you.
---Ashfur---
He's got Stunning Bite & Poison Chomp. He's also got Ash Claws, which hits all of your party members, and at Level 21, did 400 damage minimum. It was really annoying because he used it a lot. Ash Rage is a multi-turn defense and attack boost. Very irritating and can do over 1500 damage if you're unlucky.
Not too difficult, it just takes awhile and uses a lot of items. Be prepared.
---------------
After the battle, Ashfur apologizes. Heal yourself and sleep. You have more apprentice duties. (UGH)
When you finish your duties, Firestar calls a Clan meeting. Night and Talon from the Tribe of Rushing Water have come to request that Stormfur and Brook return to the Tribe. Stormfur immediately refuses, and everyone gets confused. They explain that they need their help to defeat some cats who are taking their prey. Brook wishes to return and Stormfur agrees to go with her. Firestar sends some cats to help. Of course, instead of sending lots of warriors to fight, he sends three apprentices and two warriors because why not. XD You get sent with Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight. Firestar tells you to prepare.
Talk to Leafpool, who asks for a Status poultice. You have to be level 19 in herb grinding to make this. So settle down with a bunch of leaf wraps and mice and get to leveling up your skill. Also, grab a bunch of health/SP items before you go, there's a battle you need them for on the way.
YOU CAN BUY ITEMS FROM SHEER IN THE CAVE!!! But you do needs items for a battle before you get there.
After you give her the poultice, she says she thinks the group is ready to leave. Go out of camp and you run into Brambleclaw who tells you to meet at the WindClan border. When you get there, talk to him, and he says to go to the southern tip of the territories. Go past the teleport spot to RiverClan territory and talk to him there. He says that once you leave, you can't go back. I would save here.
Go straight down the path. You can talk to Stormfur, Breezepaw, and Brambleclaw along the way. Go to the next map and follow the path until you see Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight. You meet Purdy and Brambleclaw tells you to go hunting.
Go to the top right of the map and enter the next area. Talk to the chicken and you then have to outrun a dog. Go back to the last map and into the Twoleg nest. Go to the top of the nest and up the ladder. Talk to Purdy up there who says the dog should be gone now and you can continue. He invites you to hunt.
Talk to Brembleclaw who again suggests you should hunt. Go to the back of the room (around all the bags) and catch the chicken that's running around. Go talk to Brambleclaw again and leave the nest. Talk to him again to continue.
If you talk to the snowman on the next map, your party recovers. There are rogues around. They love status moves. Keep following the path. When you talk to Brambleclaw again, he says there's no way to cross. Go to the top right of the map and interact with the log. What you then have to do is backtrack to the last map and talk to the cat directly north of you. You have to fight him.
---Burly Rogue---
Long battle. He's got status moves and Claws of Destruction. He hits around 3-4 hundred per attack. It takes a little while to beat him.
--------------------
The rogue says you have to be strong to beat him. He offers to reward you and you ask him to move the log for you. Interact with the log again and the ice moves to where you can cross it. You have to hit enter twice to cross. Go to the next map. Talk to Brambleclaw and a confrontation begins between the Tribe cats and the rogues. After, go down and to the left and talk to Brambleclaw again. He says not to offend the Tribe by implying they're weak enough to need help.
On the next map, you don't even have to talk to Brambleclaw again. Just go stand by him and two Tribe cats jump out. They talk and one of them invites you into their camp. Go to the right. Keep going to the right on the next map until you see a little patch of ice on the water above you. Walk straight up and talk to Stormfur.
Stoneteller appears and yells at Stormfur for coming back. He ejects Night and Talon from the Tribe as well and tells the Clan cats that they can only stay for one night. Go into the cave. Brambleclaw will tell you to find some to-bes. Talk to Jag on Go to the northwestern part of the camp and enter the cave. This is your den for now. You sleep in the side cave with all the green nests, on the patches of brown bracken. You can train in the cave two to the right of the to-be cave.
Go to sleep and you will enter another cat's dreams. A phantom cat tells Stoneteller that they see no end to the conflict, and that the Tribe will die if it continues. You can then move throughout the dream as Jaypaw. Go up to where Stoneteller was and you will be greeted by a cat from the Tribe of Endless Hunting. You are teleported to a cave with more cats who tell you that you're a part of the prophecy and how you would save the Tribe. Jaypaw tries to convince them to not give up and fight. They argue that they are not a Clan and that things don't always change for the better. Then, you wake up.
When you leave the cave, Stoneteller calls a meeting. He tells the Tribe that he received a sign from his ancestors that they should fight and listen to Brambleclaw and the Clan cats.
(I laughed really hard because at this point Brambleclaw came up to the rock but he got stuck behind one of the NPCs and had to walk square by square right behind them... Now you feel my pain! XD)
Many cats argue that the Tribe is not a Clan, but Stoneteller silences them. Go talk to Brambleclaw after the meeting, and he asks you to join them on a tour of the territory. He claims they'll be right outside the cave, but they're not. They're in the map to the right of the cave entrance. Talk to Brambleclaw and then move right until you can only move down. Talk to Brambleclaw again, who gets interrupted by rogues. Go back toward the cave. A battle is triggered once you walk past the other cats.
---Intruders---
They've got Hyper Poison, Stunning Crush, and Claws of Destruction. Be careful. Intruder's special move is Skill Strike, which sounds like a 1-hit KO, but it's not. At level 22 it's 5-7 hundred damage. I was awfully glad I buffed up my characters with around 400 fish and adders per. This was a pretty difficult battle.
-----------------
Go to sleep and you'll wake up as Hollypaw. Talk to Brambleclaw who wants you to help train the to-bes. Go back to your den and talk to the Screech. Leave the camp and go south down the thin path. Go to the left and talk to Breezepelt. Choose "hunter's crouch and leap," "guard your belly and neck," "slash the face," and, "Let's fight!" This begins a battle. The fight isn't very difficult. However, if you beat them, you have to start over. Let them defeat you.
They thank you for helping them and return to the cave. Sleep and you become Jaypaw. Go to Stoneteller's den on the far right. Talk to him and he will tell you that the Tribe isn't doing well and to go to sleep. You find yourself in a dream. Rock tells you to be careful. Then, you wake up. Leave the den and talk to Stoneteller who is outside of his den. He says there has been a battle. He asks you to gather 3 wintergreen and 2 tormentail from the area south of the cave. Go down the thin path again but go right this time. Walk on the little dark spot and you will enter a new area. You have to fight rogues to get the herbs.
(At this point I had to start over because I ran out of SP items - my play style relies on them heavily - and I had to do the entire thing over again with more items this time.)
EDIT: I was stupid, because if you talk to Sheer (in the cave,) you can buy items. ;-;
After you get the herbs talk to Stoneteller. You have to keep talking to him until he thanks you. Go to sleep and you'll wake up as Lionpaw. Go to where Brambleclaw normally is and there will be a big group of cats. Talk to him and he'll ask Stoneteller to go on patrol with him. He tells you to go, too. Go along the path where you were on patrol before and talk to the cats along the way who discuss where the borders should be. Once you find Brambleclaw for the third time, he will suggest that you talk to the intruders, who are south. Try to follow the path and you will get attacked by a cat - there is no battle, but you wake up in the To-Be den.
In order to prevent this, go up a few steps and talk to Pebble, who is behind a tree. She teaches you how to disguise yourself and gives you mud. Disguise yourself and pass the spot the intruder was standing at. Talk to Brambleclaw. There is no fight, but the intruders refuse to listen. Go back to the cave and listen to Brambleclaw and Stoneteller discuss the future. Brambleclaw says they will have to fight, and Stoneteller says he will let the Tribe decide.
Go to sleep and leave the den. Stonteller will call a meeting. More cats choose to fight, and Brambleclaw tells them to meet him outside of the cave. If you talk to him, he says most of the cats have already left. Go toward the place you entered before, but go left until you see a tunnel entrance. Talk to Brambleclaw (middle of the larger group) and he says a small cat must go into the tunnel. Tawnypelt volunteers you. Agree and enter the cave. Icestar has a guide on the maze here.
After you get out of the tunnels, talk to Stripes to begin a battle.
---Intruders, Flick, and Stripes---
They've got Revival, Stunning Crush, Claws of Destruction, Skill Strike, Reversal (player attacks the team,) and Trickery (prevents player from using moves.) The intruders are pretty easy, but a little time-consuming. Flick wasn't too hard either - he took a little longer, but not much. Stripes wasn't difficult only because I had him paralyzed the whole time.
Reversal cannot be healed with pheasants.
-----------------------------------------
After the battle, leave the cave and talk to Brambleclaw. Stripes says that they were defeated and they will respect Tribe borders in the future. Go to sleep and you will wake up as Jaypaw. Go into Stoneteller's den and talk to him. Use Mind Walk. Go to leave the cave and talk to Rock, who says the intruders won't be defeated for long, but the trip was not a waste. He says you should tell your siblings about the prophecy. Leave the cave. Head home, but talk to Lionpaw and tell them about the prophecy. After you do so, you will be able to recruit cats at the fresh-kill pile in camp. Go home.
I recruited Berrynose. You have to go to the Moonpool to add party members.
Go to sleep and you will get apprentice duties.
After you finish your duties, you'll wake up as Lionpaw. Leave the den and talk to Ashfur, who says you need to go hunting with Icepaw. They suggest hunting near the Ancient Oak. This means the Sky Oak. Go there and talk to Icepaw, who says she doesn't know where to hunt. Interact with the leaves on the ground in front of her. Then, follow the trail. Talk to the leaves and follow the trail again. Choose Vole. Go tell Icepaw (Whitepaw?) about it, then go back to camp. In the apprentice den, Cinderpaw asks you if you want honey. Tell her yes. She says to use it wisely, since it is very hard to get. It heals the whole party.
Sleep three times and you have a dream about the Dark Forest. Lionpaw has to tell them about the Prophecy (WHYYY) but they don't believe you. You then become Hollypaw. I think you're supposed to be Jaypaw since you have to go talk to Leafpool about meeting the Tribe of Endless Hunting. You are interrupted by Cloudtail, who is worried about Cinderpaw's leg. You see a memory from Leafpool about Cinderpelt. Leafpool says Cinderpaw will heal just fine, but she seems uncertain.
Exit the den and talk to Graystripe, who asks if you want to go on patrol. Go to the forest and they'll tell you they're going to the southeastern part of the territory.
(So apparently adding cats to your party screws up the order of cat appearance. If you didn't add any cats, you would be Jaypaw. However, since I added Berrynose, my cat is Berrynose. He looked like Hollypaw, and since I was expecting either her or Jaypaw, I thought he was Hollypaw. Please keep that in mind for the rest of the walkthrough - I'll screw up the cats a lot. XD)
Head down to the lake. You can talk to Sorreltail and Graystripe nearby, but you actually have to go to the lake. Talk to your stick. Rock doesn't appear. Leave the lake to meet Mousewhisker, who says there are WindClan warriors at the border. I switched to Birchfall here instead of Berrynose since he's a higher level by default, has more moves, and I wanted him anyway. Plus Trickery is zero SP which is awesome.
When you get to WindClan territory, Brambleclaw yells at the WindClan warriors, who then run away. Brambleclaw tells you to go back to camp and report it to Firestar. What you actually have to do is go back to camp and sleep. Wake up and Hollypaw is there. She says she's worried about Cinderpaw's assessment. I personally like the option of "Wonderful. Go away." but sadly that isn't the correct choice. She says you should follow her, and tells you to go find Lionpaw. He's on the map before the forest. He says to meet him by the dirtplace tunnel, so go there.
When you go through the exit, you now have the option of going into the forest. Go there and you'll see Cinderpaw trying to catch a rabbit. Her leg gives way. Go help her back to the medicine den, then talk to Leafpool. She insists that Cinderpaw must heal and tells you to sleep, so go to sleep. A warrior ceremony happens. Poppypaw becomes Poppyfrost and Honeypaw becomes Honeyfern. Cinderpaw can't get her warrior name because she is healing. Firestar says he wants to see Hollypaw in his den, so go into his den.
Talk to Graystripe and the cats will talk about how WindClan is stealing prey. Firestar sends you on a patrol to talk to Onestar. Your patrol gets completely rejected and you have to go back to camp. Sleep three times and Lionpaw has a dream again. Tigerstar warns him to learn where his loyalties lie. Go to the lake and you'll see your stick in the water. Firestar shows up and gets the stick out for you. He suggests you go back to camp, so go do that. Go talk to Cinderpaw in the medicine den and tell her you could help her learn to swim.
Go all the way back to the lake and talk to Leafpool, who says she followed you out of camp. Explain to her what you're doing and she tells you to go back to camp because she'll handle it.
Go to sleep and then go talk to Leafpool, who says there's a medicine cat gathering that night. Make it night and head to the Moonpool. Willowpaw becomes a full medicine cat, Willowshine. You then share tongues with StarClan. You see Littlecloud talking to Runningnose. Littlecloud says that Blackstar is losing faith in StarClan, and asks how he can fix it. Runningnose says he has to figure it out. You then wake up.
Go back to camp, and sleep twice. You should wake up as Hollypaw. Exit the den and talk to Thornclaw, who says you'll be patrolling the WindClan border today. So go there and talk to Sorreltail, the brown cat. You spot a calico cat, who says he's finally here to take his revenge. You can't quite hear though, and you have to go to camp and tell Brambleclaw. So, go to camp and talk to Brambleclaw near the fresh-kill pile. He says the cat is probably just a passing rogue.
Go to sleep and you'll wake up as Jaypaw. Walk into Leafpool's den and she freaks out because Millie's kits are coming. She goes into the back of the den and if you follow her Graystripe comes running in and tells you that you must protect Millie over her kits because that's not ominous at all. You get pulled into a memory of Graystripe and Silverstream, and how she died giving birth. Go talk to them in the den. Millie has three healthy kits and, thankfully, does not die in the process.
(I laughed a lot when Millie screamed and Leafpool was like "Great!" because I'm a terrible person.)
If you try to leave camp, the screen will shake with the text, "Darkness is coming..." and it was scary. Go to sleep and try to go into the Medicine den. Thornclaw comes into camp with the rogue. Brambleclaw gets Firestar and the cats come up to the front and the rogue introduces himself as Sol. (Is it just me or does Sol bounce back and forth when he walks?) Firestar and Sol have a discussion which ends with Sol going to the medicine den. Sol is shocked that Jaypaw is blind and is still a part of the Clan. Leafpool defends you and asks Sol to come into the den. He says there is a great darkness coming and that the sun will go out. Then, he leaves. Save here.
MAKE SURE at least ONE of your cats has Revive. Have AT LEAST one stardust, Revive poultice, or Ultra/Max Revive poultice.
ONLY USE THESE ITEMS ON YOUR REVIVE CAT - IT WILL SUCK IF THEY DIE AND YOU HAVE NO WAY TO SAVE ANYONE ELSE. >.<
Try to sleep and you'll wake up in the middle of the night. WindClan attacks. You get attacked by Tornear.
---Tornear and Skilled WindClan Warriors---
There are a lot of them. Tornear has Tornado Shred, which hits all of your party members and has a stun chance. He's also got Claws of Destruction. Lots of paralysis moves. I died. To be continued.
Take two
It took quite a bit, but I beat them. You need lots of Pheasants, and don't forget that Jaypaw probably has Greater Remedy. That helped me a lot, and I probably wouldn't have died the first time if I remembered it. I suggest your party members be at least lvl 31, since Hollypaw gets Warrior Strike then. This battle gave me at least three levels in all of my cats.
-------------------------------------------------------
After the battle, Lionpaw gets sent on a patrol with Ashfur. Heal up and save, because once you talk to him, you can't save until the battles (yes, BATTLES - there are FOUR more) are over. Have many pheasants and yarrow and catnip and juniper berries. Lots of them. Leave the camp - the sun is rising - and head just out of the forest. The cats split up, and Ashfur goes to get backup while you follow them to the border. Hollypaw leaves the party, so you're down a cat. Once you get to the border, Firestar joins you and says that WindClan used the tunnels to attack. Then, you get ambushed.
---Nightcloud---
She literally used Stunning Crush on me five times in a row, even when she got me completely paralyzed the first time. Her basic attack does 800 damage. She's got Tornado Shred and Hyper Poison. SHE HAS KILLING BITE. Powerful heal gives her back 2000 HP. This is gonna be painful. I heard somewhere that status moves don't affect her with the exception of Trickery. Thing is, you can silence her with Trickery, but she can still paralyze and poison you for some reason. Maybe it's to prevent Killing Bite, but she can probably use it anyway. Not really worth it. On the bright side, this is some fun music. I like it. I can listen to this all day. Anyway, don't just scrape by with one warrior alive, because you'll need all three of them and they don't automatically heal between battles. MAKE SURE you protect your Revive cat, and you have one of those Revive or Ultra Revive poultices you got from other battles. Or made yourself, but you've gotta be level 70 or so for that.
-------------------
After the battle, you get teleported to Hollypaw's side of things. She's at the twoleg nest. Guess what, you're fighting with her and only her (unless you have a recruited cat.) Another ambush. 3 Skilled WindClan warriors. Do what you did for Tornear's battle, except this will take longer and be more dangerous since you've got half the cats. The music is great. Keep it up, game.
After that battle, Brambleclaw tells you to get help from ShadowClan and you get teleported to the forest. I would stop in the camp to buy more supplies or hunt them yourself. Still can't save, sorry. Hurts my soul, too. Go to the top left corner of the undergrowth (it's a long way) and step on the teleport spot. Walk left. You get stopped by a ShadowClan patrol. They take you to camp. Talk to Blackstar and he agrees to lend warriors.
Go back to the abandoned twoleg den (up near the Moonpool.) Jaypaw is there - he joins your party, so you have three cats. You then immediately get attacked by five warriors. This battle is a lot more difficult than just the three, even though you have another cat. You've got five cats fighting you who love status moves. Don't forget, they've got Revival too. I got fully paralyzed after killing the first one. I just about threw my laptop until Birchfall woke up - everyone was just about dead - and I used the Honeycomb Piece I got from Cinderpaw awhile back to save me. I ended up winning the battle easily after this.
After the battle, you teleport to WindClan territory again and Lionpaw - ONLY Lionpaw (unless you've got a recruited warrior) - gets attacked by none other than Crowfeather.
---Crowfeather---
Well, he's got Tornado Shred, Claws of Destruction. If you've got a Skill Poultice, I suggest you use it. Trickery works a lot better here because it makes him unable to use Tornado Shred - he pretty much just poisons you over and over. It's a surprisingly easy battle. I got a Honeycomb Piece to make up for the one I used earlier.
----------------------
After the battle, you go to kill Crowfeather and get in a fight with Heatherpaw. Suddenly, the sun disappears and the battle ends. Go back to camp. There's obviously something going down in the medicine den, so go in there. Talk to the cat above you, who is Hollypaw. Squirrelflight is hurt. Leafpool tells Jaypaw to talk to Firestar with her. He asks if StarClan warned them - your only option is no, because, well, they didn't. Firestar says he's proud of Leafpool for handling Squirrelflight's injury. I'm pretty sure you can save at this point.
Leave the medicine den and Firestar will be speaking to the Clan when the sun comes back. The meeting ends. Sleep and Jaypaw will be at the entrance to the den. He says they have to find Sol and to meet him at the dirtplace tunnel tomorrow night. Sleep once and then make it night. Go to the dirtplace and talk to him, and he says you should check by the ShadowClan border.
So, go all the way to ShadowClan territory and talk to Jaypaw and Hollypaw. Hollypaw says the trail leads north. Go directly north until you see a spot of trees that isn't blocked by a rock - it looks like a corner almost. Walk on it and you get teleported. Walk up and in between Jaypaw and Hollypaw and Sol appears. He knows about the prophecy and says they could be great. Jaypaw asks him to stay just outside of the Clan territories.
Leave that map and go straight down. Talk to the three cats, who then escort you to the ShadowClan camp. Talk to Russetfur and she'll go get Blackstar. They talk about Sol and the sun disappearing and what it means for the Clans. Sol breaks his promise by staying with ShadowClan. You get escorted back to the territory. These walks through the undergrowth are getting really irritating, but you've gotta do it anyway.
Go to sleep and Jaypaw dreams about Yellowfang who yells at him for being impatient. Sleep again and you get apprentice duties.
After you finish those, you wake up as Lionpaw. Go into camp and talk to the group of cats outside the nursery. They discuss the battle and Ashfur says he thinks Lionpaw is ready to become a warrior. Suddenly, Lionpaw blacks out and wakes up in the Dark Forest, where Tigerstar says he is a fool to believe the prophecy. When he gets back, the cats congratulate him and leave.
Go to sleep and the game will tell you there's a Gathering. Head to the island, either on foot or with Firestar. Talk to Ashfur and Blackstar will say that ShadowClan no longer believes in StarClan. Sol appears and speaks, and then they leave. Onestar and Firestar start arguing and the Gathering ends. Sleep once and Firestar calls a Clan meeting to explain to everyone what happened at the Gathering. He also makes Lionpaw and Hollypaw into Warriors, Lionblaze and Hollyleaf.
NO MORE APPRENTICE DUTIES! :DDD
Now you can use the other routes without going through the Undergrowth. You now also sleep in the Warriors' den. I spent my time familiarizing myself with the territory.
Go to sleep and you are awoken by Birchfall who tells you to get up and go on the hunting patrol. If you talk to the cat right outside of camp, they tell you the patrol is by the ShadowClan border. Go there and talk to the group of cats. ShadowClan and ThunderClan get into a fight, then the patrol leaves. Sleep once and you get warrior duties. (oh come on I was so excited)
Note: When you have border patrols, the cats you have to speak to are still in the Undergrowth.
Finish your duties and Hollyleaf and Jaypaw will say you should meet with Sol that night. Make it night and go meet them in the Dirtplace. Then, go to ShadowClan. You have to go into their territory, but you have to use Disguise to get in. You have to wander a bit to find their camp. When you do, you listen to Blackstar and Sol talk about how they will find answers in themselves. You get teleported back to the border. Talk to Jaypaw and he says he had a vision of a badger and Hollyleaf suggests you should go talk to Leafpool.
Make it daytime and sleep another night. Go talk to Leafpool, who says the badger must be Midnight and asks you to tell her if you see her again. Sleep again and you have a dream about the Dark Forest. Heatherpaw is dead and Tigerstar says that all traitors should be killed. Dustpelt wakes you up and says to be more quiet. Sleep again and talk to Leafpool who says that Millie and Briarkit have whitecough. She asks if you can go get catmint from the Twoleg nest. Go there and the catmint got trampled in a fight.
Go back to camp and talk to Leafpool. She thinks Millie has greencough and can't go to the half moon gathering, so you have to go instead. I can't find a way to get to the Moonpool without going through the Undergrowth, so you have to. Make it night and go to the meeting. Littlecloud is not there either. Dream and you meet Midnight with the slightly terrifying picture. She says she has met and spoken to Sol. Then, Raggedstar and Runningnose show up. Littlecloud still believes in StarClan but he is not allowed to attend meetings. You then wake up.
Go to camp and talk to Hollyleaf, who is just outside. You plan to make a fake sign from StarClan. Sleep and you become Hollyleaf. Tawnypelt has come to ThunderClan due to events within ShadowClan. For some reason the camera pans down to the apprentice's den, so move one to the left and go directly down until it focuses on you again. Go to sleep twice and talk to Hollyleaf in the den. She says to meet in the forest.
There are three ShadowClan apprentices there, too. Talk to Hollyleaf and she asks the apprentices where the sign should be. They debate and decide on a marshy area just inside ShadowClan territory. Go to ShadowClan and walk left until you see a square area you can go into. Go there and walk left onto the lighter patch of grass. This is that marshy area. If you talk to Hollyleaf, she says Jaypaw has a plan. He's behind a tree to the right of Hollyleaf.
He says you should dig at the trees and make them fall on Blackstar. You say you'll go stand watch, but you get discovered by Toadfoot and have to fight him.
---Toadfoot---
He's got Killing Bite, Stunning Crush, Poisonous Shadows, and SP Blast, which is a pain. Not too difficult - he doesn't really take status moves besides Trickery.
-----------------
After the battle, you can't save. Go back in and the plan begins. Blackstar is not having it at first, but then Raggedstar and Runningnose appear. Blackstar apologizes and agrees to get rid of Sol. After, Toadfoot is angry, but agrees to keep quiet. Jaypaw hopes Sol will tell them about the prophecy. Sleep and ShadowClan cats will come into camp. Littlecloud appears to ask Tawnypelt to come back, and she eventually agrees. Sleep a few times and go talk to Dustpelt, at the bottom-left of camp. He asks you to go on a hunting patrol with him. They're going to the lake.
Go down to the lake and you'll see Sol. He makes you doubt yourself and then leaves. Go back to camp and you'll see Dustpelt. He's got greencough. Go tell Leafpool, then go to sleep. Talk to her again and she'll tell you that she's almost out of catmint, and there's not enough at the Twoleg nest. Jaypaw suggests she tell the other medicine cats, but she refuses. Go to sleep and you'll have a dream. StarClan is worried about ThunderClan. Three cats appear and tell you to seek the wind, which probably means go to WindClan. When you leave the den, Leafpool says that Firestar is sick. Go into his den after her and Firestar insists he isn't that sick, and Leafpool tells everyone to leave. Graystripe appears and you tell him about Silverstream.
Go to sleep again and you have another dream about Kestrelpaw, who says there is a stash of herbs by the stream. Go down to the bottom-left corner of camp and talk to Lionblaze. He refuses to go to WindClan with you. Make it night. Firestar decides to move the sick cats to the Twoleg den. You need three pieces of moss, five mice, and two healing poultices. When you're done, you have to talk to Brambleclaw and go back to camp. Talk to Graystripe, who says he wants to be with Millie. Firestar says no. Go to sleep, but before you can, Tigerstar will show up and disappear pretty quick. So sleep and then it'll tell you to talk to Rock, which probably means go to your stick.
EDIT: I was stupid, because if you talk to Sheer (in the cave,) you can buy items. ;-;
