Speaking of flood control, I've noticed a very large amount of RP on the site popping here every day. could we maybe have a rule where users under the starclan warrior rank can only have one RP? some of the older ones seem to be dead as well? also if a member is starclan warrior rank, then they should be able to have 4 at max or more with a mods permission or something like this?

Yes i have seen several rpg's come up on the site (by one user ), i was thinking about locking or deleting the ones with nobody rping in them....

Piplup and Blackbolt, this is coming from someone who typically doesn't do much RPing, but I don't see the harm in someone having multiple RPs if they are all actively being used. Perhaps as a solution to this problem we could have a rule that if an RP has been inactive for, say, two weeks, we delete it? (Feel free to disagree/suggest modificaiton to this idea, as you know I RP very little if at all.)

Also, can we please have flood control enabled on the forum and notifications for new replies so that games can work properly and overall spam prevention is somewhat effective? In addition, if you need help with the moderator permissions and "what is enough power" I can guide/talk to you about it. ^^ Mod permissions are actually locked and unchangeable at the moment due to the permissions that Frostleaf left me with when she went in active, however I will be working to change this by attempting to contact proboards administrative support team, as I was recommended to do by a mod on their support forum. Sorry for double post

I feel the need to point out the fact that on an active RP the RP owner could go on a long vacation (2+ weeks) or just have life get really busy. That'd make the RP inactive but it wouldn't be because nobody likes it. I suggest that either the limit be longer, or only delete the RP if the owner is active but the RP isn't.

If the person says they are on vacation or are busy i am sure there can be an exception made. We could also lock it for the time being if the person is on a hiatus lasting months.

Also, maybe if no one joins it or anything for a long time, it can be deleted?

Most of the above is true (if there were an official RP run by mods and that and had a decent amount of players there I would love to RP here then.) anyway, I'm just saying there should be a little control over how many RP's there are here there should at least be some kind of limit on how many a users can have.

Yes, i see many rps without any users here, so in 2 weeks time i will go and delete ones that have been inactive for a month or more. (think that is enough time.) Maybe we should have a forum clean-out once a month? (or 3 months, or 6 months, or 9 months, or 12 months )

I would say once every 3 month we work on getting rid of dead Role plays, I would like to see yo an admin run a Role play though some time.

Hmmm that is an interesting prospect, i would most likely get completely off-topic and make some random rps.

Easy enough. There's actually a button in Admin Controls. It basically lets you set it to a date; example, say three months ago. Then ti automatically deletes any threads that haven't been posted on in 3 months.

@willow: You can't set it to "RP's only" or anything. Just dates. If you don't want it deleted, just post on it again.

I can't do it either due to Frostleaf not setting all the right permissions before she left...

Pfff. That leaves manual deletion.
