Okay, I had a funny idea for a fan-fiction. It's about what would have happened if Scourge had survived the battle with the clans, but nobody knew it yet. I hope you enjoy it! (Oh yeah, I'll be entering some of my fan-fiction characters into it to just to have some fun XD)
Chapter one: A run in with an old enemy. (Firestar's point of view.)
Firestar yawned and padded out of his den, looking around. Sandstorm was sitting near the entrance to camp, she had a worried expression on her face. "Sandstorm? What is it?" Firestar meowed, padding up to his mate. Sandstorm turned to him, tail lashing back and forth. "Firestar, Sunpaw said she saw a cat wandering around near Snakerocks...." Sandstorm replied. "Hm... Probably just some wandering kittypet, but I suppose I ought to check it out-" Sandstorm interrupted Firestar. "I wasn't finished, she said she smelled more, and that the cat she saw looked a lot like a Bloodclan Cat she had seen during the battle, although she couldn't put a name on it." Sandstorm continued. "Now that is a little more worry some." Firestar replied, glancing at the entrance to camp. "I'll go check it out, where is Graystripe? I think I'll bring him with me." He meowed, glancing back. "I think he's still asleep." Sandstorm replied, letting out a giggle. Firestar nodded, and bounded into the Warriors Den. Inside, Graystripe was curled up in a nest, obviously asleep. "Wake up you ball of fluff." Firestar meowed, prodding him with a paw. Graystripe sat up, and turned to face Firestar. "Need something?" He meowed. "Yeah, I need you to come with me to scout around Snakerocks, one of the apprentices thought she saw a Bloodclan cat near there." Graystripe jumped a little at the mention of a 'Bloodclan cat' but nodded, and hurried behind Firestar out of the den. As they were leaving, Firestar meowed to Sandstorm: "If anybody asks, tell them where we are." Sandstorm nodded, watching them go. They padded through the woods, all the way to Snakerocks. "I don't see anything, maybe Sunpaw was just seeing things, she may still be afraid after the battle." Graystripe meowed, looking around the place. "No, it's been to long, I think all the apprentices know now that the threat from Bloodclan is gone." I hope it's gone... Firestar thought, remembering the fact that the apprentice had smelled more than one cat near here. Firestar sniffed the air, and sure enough, a scarily familiar scent was in the air. Bloodclan. Suddenly, they heard a cat running through the bushes. "She definitely was not seeing things." Firestar meowed to Graystripe, as he took off after whoever the cat was. "Keep watch there, in-case more of them come!" Firestar called back to Graystripe, dashing off. Graystripe nodded, wide eyed, as he watched Firestar go. Firestar had lost track of the cat, but it hadn't gotten too far, because he could still smell the cat nearby. It must be hiding in a bush, whoever it is. Firestar thought, surveying the area around him. Suddenly, he turned around, he heard a rustling noise in the bush behind him. As he turned around, his eyes widened, as he saw a cat that was scarily familiar, that he never thought he would meet again. Scourge!
Chapter Two: Scourge has Returned. (Still in Firestar's point of view.)
Firestar growled, loudly, as he whirled around to face Scourge. "I thought I killed you." He stated, fur bristling. "Not Quite." Scourge hissed, tail lashing back and forth. How he could have survived what I did to him I have no idea... Firestar thought, narrowing his eyes. He decided it wouldn't be worth it to try and get Scourge to explain. "Why are you here." Was his next question instead. "I live here!" Scourge replied, growling. "Your in Thunderclan Territory Scourge, and I am asking you to get out!" Firestar snapped, growling. "I could easily fight you again if you refuse, and we both know that wouldn't end good for you." He added, tail lashing back and forth. "Like you could beat me again." Scourge retorted, growling. "I very well could, this is your last warning, get out, or fight me again!" Firestar snapped, staring at Scourge. Scourge rolled his eyes, then stood up. "Fine, But be warned, I won't go far." He hissed, padding off. Firestar watched as a few cats- most likely the few Bloodclan Warriors Scourge had managed to find after the battle- emerged from the bushes and followed Scourge. Starclan help me explain this to my clan. He thought, as he turned around and headed back to Snakerocks where Graystripe was waiting. "I didn't see any other cats." Graystripe meowed as Firestar returned. "Did you catch the cat you were after?" He asked, tilting his head. "I did, I'll explain more when we get back to camp." Firestar replied, bounding back towards camp. Graystripe followed close behind. When they reached camp, Sandstorm greeted them happily. "There you are! I was starting to get worried, you've been gone for hours! Did you see anything?" She mewed, grinning. "I did, but it's hard to explain." Firestar replied, jumping up on the High-Rock to call a clan meeting. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the High-Rock for a clan meeting!" He yowled. As soon as everyone had gathered, Firestar started his speech. "I'm sure most of you have heard rumors about what Sunpaw saw at Snakerocks, first, I'll confirm what she saw was actaully a cat, not a trick of her eyes." He meowed, wanting to get it straight that Sunpaw's story was true. "Okay, I'm not going to start from the very beginning off what happened, I'll just get straight to the point. I chased a cat through the forest from Snakerocks, at one point, I lost track of it... but it was hiding in the bushes." He started, getting ready to tell them the cat Sunpaw had seen at Snakerocks was Scourge. "It turned out, the cat was Scourge." He heard cats muttering amongst themselves in the crowd, he could imagine what they were saying. It was Mousefur who spoke up. "I thought you had killed him!" She shouted, and murmurs of agreement came up from the crowd. "I thought I did, but apparently, he somehow survived. Please, don't panic, I chased him off the territory. But we do need to be a little bit extra cautious encase he decides to cause trouble, but at the moment I don't think he will." Firestar meowed, tail lashing back and forth. He breathed a sigh of relief when the clan started to calm down a little bit. "Clan Dismissed!" He called out, jumping off the High-Rock. As soon as cats started to scatter, Sandstorm approached him. "I hope your right, this is very worrisome." She meowed, obviously worried. "Don't worry Sandstorm, I don't think we'll have a problem this time." Firestar meowed, grinning, and padding into his den. At least I hope we won't.......
Chapter three: Sneaking Back./A New Warrior. (Two points of view. Scourge and then Firestar again.)
Scourge hadn't wandered far from Thunderclan Territory, he had gone across the Thunderpath, on the Shadowclan side, and was waiting for a chance to sneak back onto Thunderclan Territory. "What are we waiting for? I don't see any Thunderclan cats- and we could be caught by Shadowclan on this side of the Thunderpath." One of the Bloodclan Cat's meowed, padding up to Scourge. "We're waiting until the sun goes down, at night there would be less of a chance of us being caught." Scourge replied, glancing at the cat just behind him. The cat nodded, and padded back to join the 5 other Bloodclan Cats that Scourge had been able to find after the battle. As soon as the sun was down, Scourge signaled with his tail for the cats to follow him across the Thunderpath. He dashed through the tunnel under the Thunderpath, and the six other cats followed. "Where are we going now?" A young she-cat named Fern asked, glancing at Scourge. "Back near where we were before, but not in the same place." He replied, signaling with his tail for the 6 cats behind him to follow him. "What is the point of being on Thunderclan Territory anyway, we could easily be caught!" Came a exclamation from a older kit, slightly younger than Fern. Scourge rolled his eyes, and glanced at the kit. "We're spying on Thunderclan, waiting for a good moment to try to attack them again." He half hissed, annoyed by all the questions he was suddenly being asked. The kit started to ask another question, but Fern put her tail over her mouth, silencing her. "Moon, you better leave Scourge alone for now, he's getting annoyed." Fern whispered into her ear, tail flicking. Moon nodded, and continued to follow the rest of the cats. "Okay, we'll stay here." Scourge meowed as he reached a place just behind Snakerocks, where they couldn't be seen easily. // It was the day after Firestar had chased Scourge away from Snakerocks, and the clan seemed to have calmed down. Firestar padded out of his den, the clan seemed to be going about their normal business, Graystripe was sending out the Dawn Patrol, which included Mousefur, Dustpelt, and Graystripe himself. Sandstorm was sitting by the Nursery, watching Squirrelkit and Leafkit play. Those two are growing fast. Firestar thought, grinning. Oh yeah, that reminds me... It's about time Sunpaw became a Warrior. He thought, grinning again, and jumping up onto the High-Rock. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the High-Rock for a clan meeting!" He called out, and cats began to gather. "Sunpaw, please step forward." He meowed, a grin on his face. Sunpaw's eyes lit up, as she bounded up to the High-Rock. "I, Firestar, leader of Thunderclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn." He started, looking at the apprentice. "Sunpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" He continued. "I do!" Sunpaw meowed, a big grin on her face. "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Sunpaw, from this moment you will be known as Sunlight. StarClan honors your Courage, and Enthusiasm, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Thunderclan." Firestar finished, resting his muzzle on the Sunlight's head, and the new warrior licked his shoulder. The clan started chanting her new name. "Sunlight, Sunlight, Sunlight!" The crowd started to die down. "Tonight, you must sit a silent vigil." Firestar meowed, glancing at Sunlight. She nodded, a big grin on her face still. "Clan Dismissed!" He called out, jumping off of his perch. We may need new warriors, if Scourge becomes a problem.
