So just for fun, I decided to play New Prophecy with my first game savefile. I found myself in the old territory, so I went into the camp. Graystripe told me to go on a hunting patrol, so I left camp, and there was Sorrelpaw. But instead of saying it was her apprentice ceremony, strange fish descended upon me and StarClan said,
"We have warned you. This is your punishment!"
And the pirahnas (that's how it was spelled) killed my whole party.

I wondered if anyone would ever actually have this happen to them. This is actually completely true. When I was making the new prophecy game I realized file switching could allow cheating and cause corrupted game files. A friend suggested having fish kill such cheaters instead of simply having the game exit, so there you have it As you might know there is a low chance that an elder's den cat may mention "fish scales" to you if you talk to them. That is a reference to this. EDIT: People who read this, do NOT try to reproduce this event yourself. If you put a save file from one game into the other game, the game may break, you may find yourself stuck in a tree, find yourself missing cats, etc. and you may even stumble upon an "anti-cheat" (which there are a few of) that will force save you game in this state. I will be unforgiving in changing back such games if it is obvious you were switching the files between games.

Ohhh yeah, I remember when the elder said that. I didn't know you could switch files though.

Okay, that's hilarious. I've never had Longtail say anything about fish to me, though...

Okay this is just weird... I've never talked to Longtail, before I talked to Sorrelpaw, so I never heard Longtail saying anything about fish to me.
I'll check it out, to see if its true!

You can avoid getting killed by entering the leaders den. This transports you to the great scyamore and you don't have to leave camp (in my files it was like that the games were completed to 100%).LOLOLOL
