Swiftpaw padded around camp listlessly. Something tickled at the back of her mind, something to do with all the strange feelings she felt today, but she didn't know what.
---
Nightheart closed her eyes and tried to imagine herself back in the sky, drifting among a boundless blue land. Among gentle clouds, and teasing wind, among the air. Slowly, she drifted off into a slumber of the heavens.

Darksoul padded up to Featherstep and asked her to lead the patrol. Featherstep nodded and went in her way. (Whoever wants to go? )

Honeythorn wandered over to Heaven Shore, stopping to hunt on the way. She ended up catching three mice and a vole before she got there. Burying the prey under one of the last trees before the terrain gave way to sand, she found a comfy niche next to a boulder and settled down. She gave a sigh of contentment as the rays of sun soaked into her pelt, warming her all over and relieving her muscles of tension. She loved coming here, especially when no one else was around; she loved the sound of the waves crashing onto the sand, and she loved how she was able to think and relax here. But the events of that day kept her mind from relaxing as her body had done. Did Tristar really think she was a traitor, or was he just trying to make the point that it could be any of them? I hope it's the latter she thought. Does anyone else think it could be me? At least Mudsplash realizes the truth. And he was so kind to me...there's that to be grateful for, at least... She lay there for quite a while, and before she knew it, she had slipped into sleep.

Tristar lifted onto his paws, weary from a long nap. He made his way out of the leader's den. He peered across the camp, making sure no one was looking and darted off into the forest, heading towards the river that marked the border between Chaosclan and Heavenclan.
(Hmm... I have an idea but I have to wait until the patrol leaves.)

Setting foot on the familiar clouds of Heavenclan, Whitedove traveled with Cheetahfur to the medicine den while letting out a huge yawn. Forgetting that he was carrying cobwebs, he accidentally dropped them onto a cloud below his paw and bent down to pick up the fallen stick with his teeth. Still walking, he glanced sideways at Cheetahfur, hoping she didn't notice his clumsiness.
It's still fresh, besides, I picked it up right away. He reassured himself.

(she didn't ) Cheetahfur and Whitedove padded into the medicine den. she put the feverfew down and turned to Whitedove." Here, I'll take this now. thanks for the help Whitedove." she took the stick, carful not to bite him or the cobwebs, and began to sort them out of the tangled mess they were in.

"No problem, see ya Cheetahfur!" He called over his shoulder. His paws grew heavy but his mind burned with a fierce and energizing energy that kept him going. He made his way of the medicine cats den and curled himself into a ball in the middle of the camp. He let the sun's rays fall upon his fur, making his pelt even brighter than what it normally was. As he stretched out his front paws, he heard a sharp crackling noise overhead, the sound of thunder.Whitedove jumped onto his paws abruptly, tripping over his own tail. He gazed up at the sky intently, his face masked with confusion. Lightning and thunder...? But...it's always sunny in Heavenclan. He said mentally. The clouds floating above Heavenclan became dark and left a musty smell in the air. The clouds underneath his paws began to feel slippery and damp. Could this be related to the warning that Tristar gave us? He thought. High above, the clouds began to form a triangle formation along with a star next to it and stretched out many tree-lengths, so far that all of Heavenclan and Chaosclan could see it. The triangular cloud and the star had darkened and broke into pieces, scattering across the sky. What did all of this mean? Tristar has been acting rather strange. He left out a little while ago towards Chaosclan, but why would he go there if the patrol is already leaving? Thoughts swirled in Whitedove's mind, what would happen next?

Mudsplash burst into the clearing where he and Honeythorn had separated. "Sorry I took so long, I-" He broke of as he realized Honeythorn wasn't there. But then where is she? he thought. He sniffed the air, but the only scents he could pick up were from earlier. She must still be out hunting. But it's been so long. What if something happened to her? He hurried off in the direction Honeythorn's scent trail led, hardly even paying attention to the weather and barely stopping to bury the prey he'd caught.
A loud clap of thunder woke Honeythorn with a start. She squinted up at the clouds, realizing something was terribly wrong. As another roar of thunder rocked the skies, Honeythorn shrank back against the rock in fear.

Featherstep looked up, hearing the noises. She turned around to Darkpelt. "Should we go back to camp now?" Darksoul looked back at her. "Sure. There isn't any enemy activity."

The thunderstorm slowly became more violent. Flying rabbits had hidden deeper within their burrows and all other prey stayed low to keep from blowing away in the rapid winds. The Heaven Shore's waves created enormous tsunamis, wiping the sand's surface clean. Night began to fall. As Darkpelt and the others were coming back to camp, a large glimpse of white that strongly resembled Tristar, had passed by further into the woods. The white furred leader struggled through thick brambles and his fur got trapped, tearing away a patch of his fur. The leader ignored the lost fur and hastily darted back towards Heavenclan camp. The only odd thing was that the fur that had come off of Tristar was jet black...
Whitedove hid under the entrance of the warriors den, hiding underneath its clouded roof from the lightning bolts and fierce wind. His paws kept slipping on the damp clouds that had once been firm and comfortable, but was now slippery and hard.

Swiftpaw turned around and headed back towards camp. The storm clouds swelled black and flashed with blinding lightning. Wind howled like crazed dogs, and freezing winds swept across the sky. Swiftpaw felt her paws dash faster through the sky, desperately panicking inside.
---
Nightheart felt something wet and cold drip onto her face. Her eyes burst open as she felt something she hadn't felt in many moons- rain. How far have I fallen? I- I'm not on the ground, am I? The question tore at her mind like the wind tearing at her fur. She knew the answer in the back of her mind, but she wouldn't believe it. Nightheart struggled to her feet, panicking at the soaked earth and dripping leaves around her. A twinge of pain burst through her side, but she ignored it, and tried to rise.

(Oh yeah, I remember where I was going with this)
Tristar positioned himself in the middle of the camp and raised his paws towards the sky. The storm finally began to subside and peace was restored in Heavenclan. He noticed Cheetahfur had followed him. "Sorry I took so long getting here, I had a few errands. You cats should get some rest now, it's getting really late." He said wearily. A small patch of his fur was missing from his body and was somewhat noticeable if one were to closely examine him. "I have to go make some plans right now, I'll be back in a little while." He quickly spun around and darted off into the distance while some of his fur had begun to fall off, making a trail that blended in with the clouds.
Whitedove had listened to the conversation from afar. He guessed Tristar was just going to the Mountain of Truth. He let out a tired yawn and made his way back to the Warrior's den.

Mudsplash hurtled out of the woods, looking around frantically. "Honeythorn!" he cried, running over to her. "I was worried. You were gone so long!" He practically had to shout over the roar of the waves. "Sorry," she said, running to meet him. "I was thinking and I fell asleep. What's going on?" she asked anxiously, referring to the storm. "I don't know," Mudsplash replied. "But we better go back." As they began to run toward camp, the storm lifted, but the memory of it weighed heavily on their minds.

Featgerstep and Darkpelt headed to their own nests. Darkpelt fell asleep quickly. Festherstep guessed he had been out of camp all day. She sighed and watched the last raindrops fall. She glanced over at her friend and finally went to sleep.

The dizzying sensation of heights struck Nightheart. The pain in her side intensified and she fell sideways, tumbling back onto the ground.
