Ok, so I've been working on a fan fiction and I though it would be cool to make a cover for it. I am not good at drawing, especially on the computer, so I thought it would be easier to recolor and edit an existing cover such as this: However, my cat is not Blustar's twin, and recoloring the cat did not work. So I thought I would just recolor the background for Cloudstar's Journey. When I tried, however, I got this: Why do they have to put so many shades of red into one background? I have been working on fixing it manually, pixel by pixel, and will probably post it once I'm done. And I will probably not start on the fan fic until it is done . However, I've got some good ideas for it, and it will be awesome.

What program do you use? Some are easier than others.

Have you heard of GIMP? It's kind of like it, but kind of better. And it's free!

The thing is, I've already got most of it done, and I wouldn't use it except for this kind of stuff.

I've done it! The cloudstar one was turning out to be a pain, so, along with Snowfeather's wonderful picture, I made this: Now I can start work on my fan fiction!

It's great! Except for one thing- the picture of the cat is really hard to see, especially when next to the dark purple. Maybe you could consider making the purple border a little lighter.

Now, before Blackbolt yells at me for posting on a thread that hasn't been active in a year, I don't want to make a whole new thread about this. I have decided that my goal this summer is to finish my fan fiction. At least, the second draft . I won't post it on this thread until it is perfect, but I could use some help editing once I have a rough draft. If anyone has any writing experience whatsoever, or just wants to give feedback, I'm open to that. Shadowstalker, you are going to be the last person to look at it because, to be honest, I'm kinda scared about your response . However, once everyone else thinks it is amazing, I'll send it to you because I know you will scour it for any details I missed. Keep in mind this is my first time writing something for fun, and I have zero experience. Just one question: would everyone like to see the prologue or chapter 1 first? FYI neither of these I have even started yet, so I don't care.
