I care enough that I like having the graphics up as much as I can, but for games in general, unless it relies heavily on the graphics for it to be appealing and isn’t so interesting in and of itself, I don’t really mind.

I still play the old Pokemon Gen II (Gold and Silver) Gameboy, even though the graphics are older.

I honestly think games look like crap now days, everything looks like a blurred mess. nothing looks clear and you can never see the "extra details" to games without spending hundreds of dollars for a somewhat decent TV.

^ I guess that's true. Graphics are important to me probably because I'm spoiler when it comes to technology. We've always had the best TV's and the newest gamesystems, so image quality always mattered.

Just going to jump into this convo with one post (Saw SSB and -mind blown-) Some games today are made with downgraded graphics just for the "nostalgia" feeling (eg. Terraria) Most of those are great games, although some don't necessarily have a storyline, but otherwise, if a game's dynamics aren't great, then graphics don't mean a thing.
