Hi there, and welcome to my first guide; The Epic Boss Guide by iamtehgreatskyclan.(If you don't wanna type all that out, just call me Eagletalon) This will be edited over a period of time. NOTE: I have battled every boss in this guide multiple times, saving the game before each one and starting the fight over as soon as I win. Here we go, then.
If I am offensive in any way, shape, or form, I do not mean to offend you or anyone else, and I will remove what offended you immediately.
Progress Chart:
3/29/13: Updated with spelling checks, and adding more bosses. I want to put some screenshots too. Is that possible?
3/30/13: Encounters Added. 2nd Spelling Check. Hopefully this guide will be done before PoT, heheh

Drop: 1706 EXP, 702 A
* Badgers aren't so dangerous, depending on your level. They aren't super-powerful, they are just really high in health.
Bosses:
Angry Badger Level 12
This boss is somewhat easy, the only real move you should seriously look out for is either Claw Shred or Motherly Softness, which can make you feeble. If you are having trouble with this, check out a Training Guide or use items when your health is low. Be careful, but this battle should be easy.
Recommended Party:
Brambleclaw (Hero): Lvl. 17-21
Squirrelpaw: Lvl 17-21
(P.S.: It's easy to train at Riverclan, you can heal at Sunningrocks)
Sharptooth
So here's the one some of you guys were asking for, right? (I think.)
Anyway, Sharptooth can be paralyzed or poisoned without a doubt. Watch out for his moves, though. So Sharptooth honestly isn't all that difficult. What I should probably say is just keep attacking, but I won't, since this guide is more detailed. Anyway, Sharptooth can use 'Killing Bite', which is actually the move he will use the most often. He also uses his Basic Attack, but using Sand Scatter will make him have to use actual attacks, wearing down his SP. As I stated before, Sharptooth can be poisoned or paralyzed, but paralyzing him will stun him usually a turn or so. He recovers from it quickly.
If you decide to just poison him, he can use Remedy, and his Mega Heal will restore a good chunk of his health, too. The one other move you should look out for is Claws of Destruction. This move won't deal TOO much damage if you're high enough in level, but it can be dangerous. Mountain Blast will take a good chunk of even the best fighters, so be careful.
Sharptooth also has approximately 22,100 HP as well. Just saying.
My recommended moves for this fight are Claws of Destruction, River of Rage, Claw Shred, and Maximal Heal. Brambleclaw (the Hero,) will be able to learn Claws of Destruction at level 49. Pretty much any other cat can learn Maximal Heal, and a very useful move is 'River of Rage' with Stormfur at level 41. Good luck with that
Recommended Party:
Brambleclaw Lvl 40-51
Squirrelpaw Lvl 40-50
Stormfur Lvl 30-50
Tawnypelt/Crowpaw Lvl 30-49
Let me just say one thing; Tawnypelt might be a better option than Crowpaw. Tawnypelt seems to have just as much power behind her attacks as Brambleclaw, which could make her the smarter option.
Deadly Kittypet, K.iller Kittypet
There are a lot of kittypets in this game, ehehe.
Let's start with the moves they use, and how this will affect you.
The kittypets can use basic attacks, which won't hurt you that much. If you hit them, they can still use Mega Heal and possibly Maximal Heal, but I'm not sure about the Maximal Heal. The kittypets can also steal your SP! Claws of Destruction is a move, as described before, that will hit your whole party and cause serious damage if your levels aren't high enough. They actually don't have all that much health, my guess is that the smaller brown kittypet has 9,000, and the other has 12,000.
Now for the movesets you should use. River of Rage is your best choice here, or if you have it, Tornado Shred. Status Conditions aren't exactly neccesary for this battle, but they are very helpful in the long run. This battle's easy, in the long run you won't have much trouble with it.
Recommended Party:
Brambleclaw Lvl 43-51
Squirrelflight Lvl 42-50
Stormfur Lvl 34-50
Tawnypelt/Crowfeather Lvl 33-50
Hawkfrost
This battle is definitely NOT as hard as Scourge, but he can annoy you, mainly. My best idea is to use Sand Scatter at once, because he won't really be able to damage you with Basic Attacks, and the 'one hit' moves will fail more often. You may be wondering why I put Hawkfrost before Sharptooth, etc. It's because I'm lazy
Hawkfrost can be an ultimate pain, mainly because he will spam his status-inducing moves, then if he's damaged, will usually spam heal himself. The battle is much easier if you just use Sand Scatter, them spam attack, usuing the less-powerful cats to continue to heal yourself.
Recommended Party
Hero Lvl 50-70
Squirrelflight Lvl 50-70
Stormfur Lvl 50- 70
Tawnypelt/ Leafpool Lvl 50-70
Now I realize these levels may be either low or high, and you may be thinking, "Why the Stormfur?". It's because Stormfur is MAJORLY strong, and he has a good movepool. You (sadly) cannot use his third or fourth best move, River of Rage. Likewise, you cannot use many kinds of random status-inducing moves, (Excluding Sand Scatter) because Dark Protection will rise and kill you automatically. Sadly, I did not have this epic site the first time I played, and so I had to learn the hard way.
Terrible Kittypet(During the Skyclan subquest)
If you understand closely what Leafstar says, the kittypet has 'mastered' resistance to all but kindness. So you need to use ultimate moves, other moves (Claws of Destruction, Claw Shred, River of Rage) will not work, I've already tried. The damage will show up in green. You need to use 'ultimate moves', such as Gray Blast, Sand Blast, Tiger Crush, etc. Even Firey Fiery will not work ( D: this gives me true sadness) Otherwise this kittypet is pretty easy, if you have these moves. (I'm pretty sure Tall Smash works too.)
You also must be very careful with this kitty. He can use 'Sap Items' and Status Blast, which makes him a huge pain as well. Look out for his moves. Other than that, this is pretty simple.
Recommended Party:
Brambleclaw lvl 70-75
Squirrelflight lvl 68-74
Any other cat lvl 68-74
Leafpool lvl 69-74
Scourge (Recruiting)
Yay!! We get to fight Scourge again in NP! But...after you defeat him (When talking to Dust, not in Skyclan), you automatically recruit him! Hooray!
Anyway, he's MUCH MUCH easier to fight that in the original game. Actually, he's a pretty easy boss to me. He'll try to Status Blast you, look out for that! He actually can be stunned or poisoned this time around, so that makes it so much easier. If you want to do this the easier way, two Fiery Furies will defeat him. If you want the full-out battle, then hit him hard and fast (I've said that so often, it sounds really cool) with Claws of Destruction and River of Rage, Tornado Shred, Poisonous Shadows, or any other move that brings a wave of damage.
Bloodclan Blast can catch you off guard if you aren't careful, it'll hit your party and poison or paralyze sometimes your entire party.
Recommended Party:
Brambleclaw lvl 72-75
Squirrelflight lvl 70-74
Stormfur lvl 69-75
Leafpool lvl 68-74
He has a ton of health too, so prepare yourself for an epic battle. Again, he can be poisoned or paralyzed, unless there is a glitch.
Bone (When Recruiting)
Whoop! Bone again!
Anyway, he's easier to fight now. clan Deception will poison or paralyze your cats, so beware of that. Other moves, like clan Blast, won't do much to you if you are high enough in level. I find it almost sad that he still uses Claw Shred. He uses Mega Revival sometimes...which makes absolutely no sense to me. He has pretty low health, and he's a really easy boss if you are strong enough. Still, the clan Deception can and sometimes will take you by surprise. Be cautious and hit him with your hardest moves. I can tell you, almost guarentee you, that you will win in ten turns or less.
Recommended Party:
Brambleclaw lvl 72-75
Squirrelflight lvl 70-74
Stormfur lvl 69-75
Leafpool lvl 68-74
But if you are really having trouble, even with this party, you can easily stun or poison him.
Darkstripe(In the wasteland during 'To Be A Legend')
So in the Dark Wasteland, you can fight Darkstripe during 'To Be A Legend'. Awesome battle theme too. I really like the fast paced ones, but we are getting off topic. Anyway.
Darkstripe would be about the same difficulty as Bone in my opinion. His level's lower too..eheheh.
He uses his basic attack sometimes, which do a small amount of damage if you have a high enough level. Darkstripe also uses the one-hit KO bite, which we are aware of once he catches us by surprise. You have that one bit of hope that it misses, though. He can and sometimes will use Warrior Destruction, and that can hit your whole party, but has a low chance of actually hitting. Good thing for sometimes hitting attacks.
Anyway, the one thing he will use the most often is his basic attack, and he will use almost nothing else. You can easily poison or paralyze him, and hit him hard with a Fiery Fury from Squirrelflight or Leafpool (If your Leafpool is a very high level). If you'd rather not use either of them, strike fast with Claws of Destruction, or even Warrior Destruction. Status inducing moves are a good key here. That's if for Darkstripe's overview. If there's anything else, feel free to tell me.(That sounds like it rhymes wait no it doesn't. feel free to heel steed? nah ill work on rhyming later)
Recommended Party:
Brambleclaw lvl 90-99
Squirrelflight lvl 90-99
Scourge lvl 60-80
Leafpool lvl 77-99
Tigerstar(In the wasteland during 'To Be A Legend')
Whew. Good thing you didn't pick yes, eh? That was a joke.
Anyway, Tigerstar can be difficult if he decides, or rather the computer decides, to hit you hard with status conditions, and then strike fast with powerful moves. Don't make him hard by using Sand Scatter the second you can.
So Tigerstar's got the whole 'Dark Healing' thing that will make him heal 1000 health every turn, which can be a lot if you make it a lot. Two Fiery furies will usually destroy him. However, if you prefer an awesome final battle full of tension, I would advise Claws of Destruction. River of Rage won't work here, sadly. His Dark Protection will kill you automatically if you try that and inflict almost any status condition on him. Sniff.
But Sand Scatter works fine on him.
Recommended Party:
Brambleclaw lvl 90-99
Squirrelflight lvl 90-99
Scourge lvl 60-99
Leafpool lvl 89-99
Moving on to Tigerstar's moveset, he has a whole range of pretty attacks he can use. He can destroy your entire party with a one-hit KO all move if you aren't careful. Hit him with Sand Scatter the first thing you can. Next, Tigerstar's got his basic attack, which is oftentimes the biggest thing for bosses. How did basic attacks become so popular? Basic attacks won't do as much damage as actual moves, but it can prove . He will recover SP after a certain point in time, too.
Tigerstar can also use Claws of Destruction. Most bosses can, as we have learned on our adventures. Shadowy Rapids is a move that I don't think we've seen before, but it can be VERY DANGEROUS. It hits your party with damage, but will also give the Venom condition sometimes! Look out for that.
Sap Inventory is the one thing that really bugs me. It, as the name suggests, saps items from your inventory. Once a turn, even if he doesn't use the move again, and even if you could poison or paralyze him, it would possibly still sap items. So he can attack you and get an item in the same turn. It would be like a gift for his efforts too.
So not only can Tigerstar hit and get items in the same turn, he can heal too.
A good move to have would also be Legendary Heal (Leafpool), and/or Mega Revival (Also Leafpool, but can be others too). If you know which cats usually strike first, you can use the faster one to use Mega Revival, and then the next cat in line can use Legendary Heal for an ultimate healing sensation. If you use Eagles, they are useful items to have. He's got around 100,000 health. And that's Tigerstar for ya.
Ultimate Challenge
I'm not going to put the cat you're battling, because I don't want to spoil your fun. Honestly, it came as a surprise to me, too. I WILL put some ways, however, you can easily best him/her.
Method 1:
This method is my favorite. Have at least two cats with very high SP (The best is 9999), and they need to know the move 'Killing Bite', which has a chance of defeating the enemy automatically! This is VERY USEFUL. The only question is; 'How am I supposed to beat this guy with this?' Well, you can stun him with your other two cats by using Stunning Bite every turn with the other two.
Recommended Party:
Hero Lvl 99 (Also known to many as BRAMBLECLAW)
Scourge Lvl 70-99
Squirrelflight Lvl 70-99
Leafpool Lvl 70-99
Now the one reason you should have Scourge is because he knows Bite. Brambleclaw can learn K!lling Bite as well. The best option is to have Scourge and Brambleclaw use the Bite every turn, and Squirrelflight and Leafpool using Stunning Bite. If the ultimate challenger is stunned, then you can heal SP that one turn. (That is why all cats are recommended to have 9999 SP.)
(If you guys have any questions on the bosses above, please don't be afraid to ask! Also, the next bosses should be coming soon, very soon!)
If I am offensive in any way, shape, or form, I do not mean to offend you or anyone else, and I will remove what offended you immediately.
