After I played New Prophecy, I was wondering about the hunting system you did where the player would chase down the prey and catch it.But maybe you could do it where a certain button activates and the prey will appear and your speed will be decreased.

I am confused as to what you mean by "But maybe you could do it where a certain button activates and the prey will appear and your speed will be decreased." Do you mean like a cutscene, maybe? Or a one-on-one hunt without the excess prey lagging the game up?

Hmmm i would like the hunting system maybe where you have to fight the prey and kill it, but instead of normal moves you get new set of moves like Hunters crouch ect. Hmmm i like that let me post it on the suggestion thread  |

Koa, I mean a common event activates by a button that enters you into a mode where prey appears and you can pounce on the prey from a certain distance.

Not exactly, you would have small scent trails that would appear and noises would happen.

Oh. Wolfquest's one is like there is a scent mode, and you follow a scent to prey. (Which you can only chase down, unfortunately)

Hmm tiger I partially understand what you're saying and I think I see how it could be done....while I don't think I'll be changing the hunting in original/NP game, I'll look into this for po3
