PREY & THE TERRITORY

The camp is in the heart of the territory. Surrounding it is a forest of oaks, elms, alders, and beeches. Just south of the camp runs a fast-flowing river. The river then runs into a pond in the the farthest south-west tip of the territory. On the opposite side, in the north-east corner, are towering cliffs. The only way up is a secret path that is hard to find. At the top, The oaks, elms, alders, and beeches give way to pine trees. In the midst of the pines is the river, that later reaches the edge of the cliff is a huge waterfall, over 100 fox-lengths high.
The river splits away a small stream that creates a enormous island. The stream later connects back into the river. To the far south-east lies tall grassland, with a landmark of pointed, razor-sharp sandstone rocks standing up like teeth.

THE CAMP
Hiddenclan is known for their unatrual creativity. Instead of their camp on the ground, it is in the trees!
When the trees were younger, the more flexible branches were woven to create a platform, with branches from the forest floor covering up gaps. dead ferns were laid over this to create a cushion. The platform was made of branches of six trees wove together: a oak, birch, elm, polar, pecan, and beech. The elm stands in the very middle. On the back of the trunk, a section had rotted away, and it was hollowed out long ago by woodpeckers. The opening was then widened by cats, just big enough for a cat to squeeze through. The inside was just large enough for a nest of moss. On the other side of the elm, another platform was constructed. This one was much smaller, and only big enough for one cat. This was called the Elm Ledge, in which the leader spoke from to their clan.
The beech tree made the Medicine Cat's den. It have four main branches, all jointed to the trunk at the same level to form a small platform. Just outside this natural platform, a den was constructed by making another platform and bending thin branches into a small den shape.
The poplar tree made the Nursery. The platform built on this tree was a fox-length or so higher than the main platform. Like the Medicine cat den, the den here was constructed the same way, only bigger, and a wider platform for kits playing. Steps going up were made by taking thicker sticks and, using their teeth, cats would lash them with tough vine to the branches winding up.
The apprentice den was the Birch tree, and was made just like the nursery, only no steps, because the apprentices could climb easy.
The Warrior's den was the Oak, the strongest of the trees and the biggest. it is constructed much like the apprentice den. The *pecan tree is the elder's den.
The camp is about ten fox-lengths from the ground. Cats can access the camp easy; a young alder tree had once fallen, right into the criss-crossing branches of the oak and beech tree. It makes a perfect bridge.
*Pecan is pronounced "Peh-caun", NOT "Pee-cahn" as it is mistakenly called.
