You're at France? I had no idea! Is it a vacation with your family, or is it like a School Service Trip? Or are you involved with a Foreign Exchange Student program?

“Uh…it’s going pretty well. There are a lot of herbs to learn but it’s fun…what about your training?” You ask, careful not to give too much detail. Redpaw rolls his eyes.
“Well, alright I guess. It’s kinda boring though, with only Lilypaw and me.” Redpaw shrugs. You tilt your head in confusion.
“What about Ripplepaw? Don’t you train with her?” You had heard some stories about training, and usually apprentices trained together sometimes, even when they were three moons apart. It helps the older apprentices learn to teach, and sometimes the younger apprentices can help with things like assessments. Lilypaw looks down.
“Well we don’t see her much. I guess Beechtail does private training most of the time…it must be hard. At least Redpaw and I have each other. Ripplepaw doesn’t have anyone. Beechtail is a…well he’s a good warrior but I don’t think he cares much for other cats. And…well I don’t ever get to see Ripplepaw around camp. Usually she just eats really quickly and either goes into the den or out again. I bet she’s lonely…” You pause, you’re heart breaking as you think of your sister. She is lonely…but in nine sunsets that can change. Thorntail will be her mentor again. He can take care of her. You decide to change the subject. Talking about Ripplepaw isn’t what you came here for.
“I think it will get better for her when Thorntail can be her mentor again. Anyway, I was wondering…if there’s any way you would let me be your friend?” Redpaw laughs and Lilypaw flicks his ear before smiling at you.
“Of course. Everyone needs a friend or two. Redpaw was probably just surprised to hear you say that. Most cats just consider us friends. We never had real requests to be friends.” Lilypaw’s words are kind, but your ears still burn with embarrassment. Of course you’re not supposed to just ask someone to be friends. You’re supposed to develop a bond with them, like you did with Thorntail. But there you already had something of a relationship with him, something to go off of. With Lilypaw and Redpaw, you’ve never tried to talk to them about anything besides official business before today. You need to make memories together. But…they’re warrior apprentices, and you’re a medicine cat apprentice. What could you possibly do together?
“Hey! I just got an idea!” Redpaw cuts into your thoughts. “You should come watch our training tomorrow! That is if you could take a day off of medicine cat training?” Mistchief gleams in his eyes, but he looks genially excited at the prospect of doing something with you. You’re not sure about skipping training though, until you look behind Lilypaw and Redpaw and see Brambleberry smiling. She nods once. Skipping one day won’t do much harm, especially since making friends is what you were supposed to do anyway. You turn back to the apprentices, nodding.
“I think I will come. Where will it be?” Redpaw shrugs.
“We never find out until the morning. You could meet us here at sunrise and find out with us.” You dip your head.
“I will. See you tomorrow!” You smile at them and begin to pad back to the medicine cat den.
“Bye!” The apprentices call in unison.
You have a little time left before the clan will be going to bed. You could use the time to talk to some other cat, and try to start some more friendships. You still haven’t talked to Minnowstar, Grasskit and his siblings, or your parents. Your parents are sitting together now, so you could talk to them both at once if you wanted to. You could go out and look for herbs since you didn’t do much of that today. It is green-leaf so the herbs are probably flourishing. Alternatively you could go ask Brambleberry for some more studying. You haven’t learned many herbs recently, just fighting, hunting, and reading prophecies. Since you’re the only medicine cat in the clan it would be nice to know all the herbs sooner rather than later.
What do you do?
1.) Start A Friendship With Minnowstar 2.) Start A Friendship With Grasskit and His Siblings 3.) Start A Friendship With Dawncloud and Stonepelt 4.) Collect Herbs 5.) Ask Brambleberry For Training

You decide to talk to your parents, after all they're your kin. It shouldn't take too long to make friends with them. You pad over to them finishing a squirrel together and sit down.
"Ah Stormpaw!" Your father smiles in happiness. "I feel as though I may have not seen you in moons! I suppose medicine cat training does keep you busy however." You push back a purr of amusement. Your father has always talked like this, and it never ceases to be simultaneously respected and hilarious.
"It certainly does. It's fun though. I'm glad I got to be a medicine cat..." You trail off, realizing too late what else you implied as you notice Ripplepaw standing behind you.
"Yeah Stormpaw...I'm so glad you get to be a medicine cat instead of me. You're PERFECT for the job." Her tone sounds light but you hear a note of darkness in it. Your parents, however, don't. Or maybe they just choose to ignore it.
"You aren't doing too badly yourself Ripplepaw!" Dawncloud meows. "You got through the battle unscathed, and your training has been going excellently. You'll be an amazing warrior. You know that right?" Ripplepaw nods slowly.
"Although, as my daughter I believe your hunting shall need some improvement. You exemplify the image of a star apprentice in battle training, however I rarely see you bring back more than the bare minimum of prey. I am quite aware that Beechtail doesn't pay much heed to you as you are a temporary nuisance to him, and frankly I have some strong opinions on his being a mentor at all, but I do. Would you require some extra training? As I have no apprentice at the moment I would be happy to train you in the evenings." Stonepelt places his tail gently on her shoulder. It's clear he cares for Ripplepaw. Maybe this is it. This is how she can start to feel better. Between Stonepelt and Thorntail she should certainly feel better-
"No!...I mean, no thank you...I just don't like training in the evenings..." Ripplepaw cuts into your thoughts, and you freeze. I guess it's not as perfect as you thought it was.
"Well that is quite alright Ripplepaw. Would you prefer early mornings? I notice Beechtail normally doesn't take you out until approximately sun-high." Stonepelt sounds very soothing despite Ripplepaw's apparent temper. She has to say yes!
"No...I think it's better if I just wait until Thorntail is better." She turns to you, her eyes likes flint as soon as she's out of her parents sight. "That WILL be soon won't it?" She meows, sounding calm despite her expression.
"Uh...well yes. Yes he'll be ready for his duties in 8 more sunrises." You stumble. Ripplepaw nods.
"Good. Then maybe we could all just go to our nests like we're supposed to be doing and those 8 sunrises will come all the quicker. Sound good?" Ripplepaw is already padded off to the apprentice den, and Stonepelt and Dawncloud seem ready to follow her. You dip your head.
"She's right...we should get some sleep." They seem to take this as approval and pad off to the warriors den together as you turn towards your own den. You snuggle into your nest and let your eyes fall shut. Soon though, you awake in a dark landscape, unable to see anything, although you know you're eyes are open.
"One chance. One sight." A voice whispers from the shadows.
"What? What are you talking about?" You call, wishing for any help.
"One chance. Brighten the shadows. See the old foe." The words seem to get fainter and fainter until they've gone completely and you realize with a jolt that you've heard these words before...shadows, and old foe, this is from the prophecy! Just as you are about to consider it further, you wake up, hearing the dawn patrol in the clearing about to leave. You really are up early. Maybe on purpose. Starclan has sent you a message, a warning even, and you should answer it, as a medicine cat. But how? One...sight. From brightening the shadows. Maybe it's a chance to clear up the mystery! You could finally find out what the prophecy really means! You are about to head out of camp as fast as you can when you're stopped short by two voices behind you.
"Just couldn't wait for our training session could you?" Redpaw's voice echos in your head. Right...you had agreed to come training with them. Like Starclan wanted. You need to make friends...but isn't this from Starclan too? Oh no...
What do you do?
1.) Go look for something related to the prophecy 2.) Go training with Redpaw and Lilypaw
(FYI, in case you were wondering. One of these options guarentees a bad outcome, and the other has a 50% chance bad outcome. This is a point in her life where, due to Starclan not being as powerful as they hope to be, she can't be completely right. So choose correctly and hope you get lucky. I wish Stormpaw the best. Now have fun guessing which is the right choice!)

You decide you have to leave. Hopefully Redpaw and Lilypaw will understand. "I...um...I'm really sorry but I have to skip it. I need...I need to find something." You're unsure of how to say what it is your looking for. Even you don't really know and Redpaw and Lilypaw don't know about the prophecy. You turn and rush out of camp, scanning for anything related to the phrophecy, or any sign of Leaffeather.
After running for a while though, you begin to feel your lungs begging for air, and you realize you need to slow down. You pause, glancing at the river and Sunningrocks beyond it. The sight of so many, many battles. But as far as you know, none of them had to do with Leaffeather. You could check anyway, after all, you only know the details of one real battle that took place here. Then again, it's unlikely that any signs would be left. They would have to be at least 10 moons old, your age, for you to have never heard of them. Because of that, you continue, although your thoughts wander to the many battles for sunningrocks that had taken place while you were just a kit. It seemed that every day was either a battle or planning for a battle. It's possible something could have happened that you wouldn't know about. Even so, any evidence would be at least 6 moons old. You can't waste time on something like that, without even knowing if it even could yield any evidence. No, you need to keep searching. You need to find what Starclan was leading you to.
You glance over towards the twolegplace, noticing a lot of cat shapes perched on fences and in little twoleg trees. You wonder how those silly kittypets ever plan on getting anything done. Putting a little in amusement, you continue on, before stopping in thought. Maybe you were wrong. Maybe the old foe is the kittypets from your journey. That would explain why there are so many here. You shake your head. That can't be right. Battle hungry kittypets wouldn't lay in the sun and perch on trees...would they? Of course not. Starclan wouldn't have sent you out here to gaze at kittypets. You decide to continue.
Finally you come to a piece of loner territory, some fields, small patches of forest, and a nice looking barn. Could this be what you were sent to look for? Maybe...but you can't see how it's related to either Leaffeather or the kittypets. Unless...well Leaffeather is a rouge now. She might choose to live here, close enough to her former clan that she could come whenever she pleased but far enough to not get caught. But you don't have any proof she lives there, and it's off clan territory...Still, you should look. If you can find where Leaffeather lives, it may be exactly what you need to be out of the shadows! You race forward, hesitating for only a moment before crossing the border and running full pelt towards the house. When you arrive, you look back, noticing your border is a good 5 minute run away. You can no longer make out the details of it. Then, you enter the barn. Taking in its scent, you can't smell any cats. There's a foul smell of mud and...something dead, but you can't see anything other than straw. Even searching around for a while, you can't find anything out of the ordinary. You sigh. It doesn't seem like anything is here. You suppose taking a chance that some random barn would be where Leaffeather lived wasn't a good idea.
Padding back out slowly, you notice the sun sinking behind the horizon. Oh no. If you don't get back soon you'll miss prey, let alone be able to talk to Redpaw and Lilypaw! You pelt back to camp as fast as you can, feeling a sliver of relief at your own clans scent. Still, you can't let your guard down to much. You need to make it back as fast as you can! You rush through the trees, through the march and over the river, feeling the water splash onto your hind legs. You muscles burning, your lungs aching, you arrive at camp. Redpaw and Lilypaw are over by the apprentices den finishing a rabbit. You go to them quickly. "I'm so so sorry about today." You stammer.
"A little late for that don't you think?" Redpaw mumbles.
"I must admit I was looking forward to training with you today." Lilypaw meows quietly. "And Redpaw seemed a little upset all day." Redpaw glares at you.
"Yeah, but I'm sure you at least found whatever it is you were looking for." He meows, a growl in the back of his throat. Your heart cracks as you shake your head. Behind Redpaw, a ghostly white she-cat appears.
"One chance given, two chances lost." Moonbeam whispers. Redpaw huffs in annoyance.
"Well you definitely found something. You smell terrible! Where were you?"
"That's something I'd like to know as well." A deep voice meows. You turn around to see Minnowstar looming over you. "Where were you today?" He asks again.
What do you do?
1.) Tell him the truth 2.) Make up a lie
I don't think I've ever flipped so many coins for a single entry. I think it'd be a little spoiler-y to say where I flipped them, but for some you can probably guess. Also, sorry guys. Either you picked wrong, or you were unlucky. Or both. Either way, Stormpaw has some cleaning up to do.

You sigh, realizing there's nothing to be gained from lying.
"I was out looking for Leaffeather. Starclan told me...well I think they told me there was something about her I needed to see today." You finally reply. Minnowstar raises his eyebrow.
"Really? Well if Starclan asked you to leave the territory on your own to go looking for a dangerous cat as an untrained apprentice who, and forgive me for this, can't fight all that well, then you had to go I suppose. Well did you find her? What did she say?" Minnowstar asks, a slightly dark tone in his voice. It's clear he doesn't fully believe Starclan would send you out like this.
"I...well I didn't actually find her...I think Starclan is disappointed with me." You trail off near the end, not having meant to say that much.
"Well, that makes two of us. Stormpaw, you can't just shrug off your promises because on a whim because you're scared. Are you sure Starclan spoke to you?" You nod quickly. How can he not believe you? Sure you didn't find what you were looking for, but that doesn't mean you weren't ever looking for anything! You are about to reply when Lilypaw cuts you off.
"Uh, Minnowstar? I don't think Stormpaw is lying. She said this morning she had to find something, and she looked really conflicted about it. I don't think she would have reached out to us last night or looked so conflicted this morning if she was just shirking her responsibilities." You look up at her, surprised, but your eyes fill with gratitude. Lilypaw is probably one of the best friends you've ever seen...if she still is your friend. Redpaw is still looking annoyed with you, but given his...excitable nature, he might just be more emotionally driven than most cats. He could probably get over it if you worked to make it up to them. You turn your attention back to Minnowstar, waiting for his reply.
"...I agree that would be strange, and Stormpaw hasn't ever been one to lie or abandon her responsibilities...I'll believe her." He turns his gaze back to you, still firm but gaining warmth. "But next time Starclan calls for you, don't run off of the territory by yourself, alright?" You nod fervently, ready to prove your dedication and thanks. As Minnowstar walks away to the fresh-kill pile, you turn to Lilypaw. You are about to reply when you see Ripplepaw standing by the apprentice den, watching you. She huffs before picking up a shrew and padding out of camp. Where could she be going? It was already late. But you couldn't abandon your new friends twice in one day no matter how much Ripplepaw was worrying you. Instead, you pick up a mouse once Minnowstar had gone and sit beside Redpaw and Lilypaw near the stump.
"Thank you so much for vouching for me just now." You murmur. Lilypaw smiles gently.
"No problem...you seem like a nice cat Stormpaw. I don't want to believe that you ran out of the territory just so you wouldn't have to bond with us." Lilypaw replies. You laugh, hearing a faint chuckle underneath your's from nearby.
"...Redpaw?" You ask gently, guessing where the laugh had come from. The chuckle instantly stops and you see Redpaw squeeze even more into a ball away from you.
"Don't mind him...He gets a little emotional sometimes, but he'll come around, you'll see." She pauses, looking at Redpaw for a minute before looking back at you. "If you're free tomorrow, maybe you could come watch our training then? We'll be battle training, but you wouldn't have to join of course. But if you have things to do that's fine too." You want to go, it would make both of them happy and maybe repair your new friendship with Redpaw...but you've already taken a day of off training that turned out to be fruitless. Would Brambleberry be willing to let you go. You glance to the side, hoping to see your beloved mentor give her answer...but she wasn't there. For that matter, you haven't seen her all day...where was she? Well, at the very least you know you can't rely on her like you could last night...you have to make this choice by yourself and just hope Starclan is alright with whatever it is.
What do you do?
1.) Go watch Redpaw and Lilypaw's training 2.) Get back to your own training with Brambleberry
