Danny's Levelling Guide (for the original game)
Hello! I've decided to compile this guide for my fellow WCTG players who may be stuck. This thread is actually really old, and I'm honestly just making this look pretty / adding new information.
However, I have started to replay this game again, so if you do need help with the game, feel free to just reply!
And with that out of the way, let's get into it!
The first time you fight ShadowClan's leader, Brokenstar, you should at least be level 29 or above that. I should note that Admin did mention that 24+ is the recommended level you should fight him - however, I found it's way better to level up until at least 29 as you will learn Warrior Strike which is way stronger than Claw Shred. To level up, just fight the two warriors in ShadowClan territory. They should give at least around 1,400 EXP. Additionally, I've found out that you can get 3 ShadowClan warriors in WindClan territory which will give about 2,100 EXP.
The second time you fight Brokenstar, you should at least be around level 35-40. You should also recruit Longtail, Frostfur and either Goldenflower or Speckletail. Levelling Longtail up to level 23 will make him learn the move Claw Shred and levelling Frostfur and either Goldenflower or Speckletail to level 26 will make them learn Motherly Softness. Motherly Softness can be used in place of Motherly Aid and it also makes your enemies feeble.
The recommended moves to use in each battle should be: Stunning Bite (to stun him so you have more time to poison/attack him), Poison Chomp (to poison him, which will make him lose 900 or more health every turn), and either Claw Shred or Warrior Strike (recommended to use Warrior Strike, as it's way stronger than Claw Shred as previously mentioned)
Note that if he recovers from either stun or poison, you should try to do those moves again.
So, you've progressed a bit further into the game, and now you need to defeat Scourge. I suggest you try training in RiverClan territory - particularly, the part of RiverClan territory where Bluestar died. The first image shows a shortcut to that area (which you can only access after Bluestar's death), and the next shows what it looks like.
Do note that there's another way to get to this area, through Fourtrees.
The single RiverClan warrior should give around 800 EXP and the double RiverClan warriors 1,700 EXP.
There is a chance to encounter 6 warriors - 2 ShadowClan and 4 RiverClan. They should give at least almost 5,000 EXP.
You can choose to escape from the single warriors or battle them. The double warriors are easy if you have Claws of Destruction or other moves that hit everyone of the group.
Now, for the battle with Scourge itself, I suggest your main cat level up to level 75, but the lowest seems to be level 71 as I previously beat him at that level. However, you do need to be careful as you can't use status moves on him or he will kill you right away. I will update this part of the guide once I get to it in my replay.
Hope this guide has helped you, and thanks for reading until the end!
