The Search
From Sunrise to Moonhigh,
I constantly search for it though it draws near.
My legs have turned to stone and the darkness covers the sky
How I long to fill that moment of cheer
In the back of my heart is a place of blind light
The joy of my soul shows on the outside,
But the hidden darkness deep within puts up a fight
How I wish the warmth would rise like a tide
From High and low
I fight with my will, my desire to find it
And this time, there will be no snow.
How I can rest now with the comfort of it.
