Characters:
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shadow- A black, long furred she cat with emerald eyes and unusually sharp fangs.
Story:
~~~~~~~~
Prologue
A dark shadow was creeping through the forest. It was stalking something... A cat. The dark shape moved silently across the grassy ground and thick undergrowth. Then, the shape darted towards it's prey. The cat shrieked as it was smashed into the ground. But it's cries were quickly cut off. Blood spattered the ground, staining the moonlit grass scarlet.The dark figure was now visible. It was a cat.
Chapter 1
Shadow woke up. The bright sunlight was shining through the thick forest trees and going straight into her den. The black she-cat blinked, blinded by the bright light. When she could see, she stood up, stretched, and cleaned herself quickly.Then she left her den large den. Just outside was a smaller den. Inside was full of prey. She grabbed a plump squirrel and headed for a shaded spot under an oak tree. The tree was full of claw marks from cats climbing up and down. Or maybe just one cat. Shadow was a loner. A cat who lives by themselves. Alone.
Shadow finished her squirrel. She stood up and licked her blood stained muzzle. Her green eyes gleamed in the shadow of the oak. She started to pad off into the forest. As she walked, a strong scent her nose. “Pet...” She muttered. “Great.” She followed the scent to a twoleg fence. The pet’s scent led away from it, and into her territory. She followed it. Finally, when the scent was so strong it was overwhelming, she saw it. “Stupid pets. Why can’t they stay with their twolegs and eat their disgusting mush?” The pet was a she-cat, with a tortoiseshell pelt.It was young too. Shadow guessed it was the pet’s first time outside, by the way it jumped and turned towards every rustle, neck fur bristling, and sniffed every plant.
Then, when the little cat had found a clump of catmint and was rolling around in it, Shadow jumped out of hiding, green eyes gleaming. The little cat tried to get to its paws and flee, but Shadow pinned it down, a strong paw on its neck. “What are you doing here?” She hissed. “I... I-I just wanted t-to see what it was like out here in the f-forest...” The tortoiseshell mewed, eyes wide and filled with horror. “Please let me go!” “You’re on my territory! And you know what happens to cats who trespass on my territory?” She asked. “N-no...” The pet whispered. “Well why don’t I show you?” Shadow snarled, and started pressing down hard on its throat. “No! Please...” She mewed, fighting for breath. Finally, Shadow lifted her paw, but before the pet could move, Shadow hissed, “Stay in your twoleg’s nest, pet. The forest isn’t for you.” And she let the pet get up. It jumped to its paws and fled, eyes frozen with terror. Once it had jumped over a fence and out of Shadow’s sight, she collapsed on the ground, laughing. “That’s the most fun I’ve had in ages!” She mewed out loud, remembering the little she-cats horrified face. After a while she stood up and headed for her den.
That's all I have for now. Please tell me about errors, or places I could improve. You like? ^^
